I'm not familiar with Kinja but since apparently some sites changed to it does it have any advantages over disqus?

while I personally didn't favor it much it's always far better to like or love something instead of disliking it so good for you!

actually he's a copy of a copy of a copy……multiply by a couple of billion times? of course his body should have take a *bit* of damage or some degenerating effects from that.

I really don't think that's the case.
david tennant/10 was simply a charming doctor and since eccleston/9 only did one single short season it was 10 most new viewers came to associate most with nu who.

perhaps she did know the novel but since "friday" is such a common word she wasn't sure they referred to the book?
but it'd have been funnier if bill said: "oh so like in robinson crusoe?" and the soldiers went: "no, because we found him on a friday".
missed opportunity, I'd say.

I wonder if some future episode featuring the ice warriors again will have a throw back to this scene. like a statue of godsacre which is revered by far off future incarnations or similar.

ah.
I completely forgot the plot of this one and now that you summed it up it comes back to me.
I was fine with forgetting that stupid episode.

since I came to seriously detest frozen I'm glad they didn't include it.
and I was disappointed that from all the good and bad movies out there he only remembered frozen *sigh*.

you had to mention it, didn't you?

since DW is a tv show with limited budget it probably can't be helped that a lot of aliens look very humanoid. wigs and make-up are simply less expensive than elaborate props/CGI/convincing full body costumes.

this episode was just a filler, not more or less.

just don't throw your phone/computer/laptop/ipad around, you'll regret it just seconds later.

I think they probably wouldn't even had to kill the monk, just get him (her???) out of that chair and room so he can't continue the brainwashing.

don't you mention cousin matthew! it just wasn't the same without him around and is this really spoiler worthy after all this time?

but then what was their ultimate goal? so they installed 1984 with themselves being big brother but to what avail? just for the lulz?
didn't they have some underlying aspiration, like needing earth's resources or something? searching for a new planet because their own blew up? loving the taste of human flesh?
nowhere

yes indeed, why didn't bill die or at least end up a vegetable? it was never explained outside of "the power of love" and, let's face it, delusion anyway.

while I completely agree with out, the doctor will never sell out an entire planet to the ownership of some oppressors, I thought he was mind controlled as well.
it'd have been far better if the doctor, being somehow important to the monks, was held prisoner properly and had undergone far more brain washing than the

nardole will not like having to shovel out pony shit all the time…… XD

can't forget how that "professional" simply took off his helmet in an area where he clearly needed it. it's there for a reason!

I think what they really needed was just one willing human to provide the link which would then allow them to active the brainwashing of the rest of human race. so the pesticide was just a means to find someone truly willing and selfless so they could use their brainwaves. or something.
because the generals before her
