I assume for someone who's over 2000 years old an age difference of some mere decades doesn't mean much so he really thinks they look the same or at least similar age.

or it's just my opinion disagreeing with yours? everyone feels different about characters so naturally not everyone would favor the same characters and it just happens I really don't like Amy. that's all there is to it and not worthy of criticism at all.

I'm sure since she only recently got those valuable pictures she made plenty of copies so she won't ever lose them again.

you could be right, the actors simply getting along IRL can make a huge difference on-screen as well.
it also helps that they abandoned the romance angle, heck Bill is even gay so that ain't gonna happen which is terrific.

is Class really that bad/bland? I only ever heard mixed reviews but since it does not contain the Doctor as main lead I have no real interest watching it.

so he was the Martha of the classic DW?

Martha was introduced when the Doctor was still heartbroken about losing Rose. I think any companion/actress would have had it hard in this position to shine. still, she did reasonably well and she walked out of the TARDIS herself once she had enough.

I liked Donna a lot, her buddy-buddy relationship with the doctor was a treat but unfortunately her introduction in "the runaway bride" was horrible.
I'm glad Bill got a far better start than that.

I really loved Rory but unfortunately he was always paired with the abomination that is Amy Pond, he was never the "main" companion and was delegated to a hanger on. if he could have been a perfectly fine companion on his own without the Amy ballast he'd have been one of the best for sure.

I think the Doctor didn't tell her about his regeneration and more about the Time Lords for the simple reason of not wanting to overwhelm Bill with his alienness. of course she knows and accepts the Doctor not being a human but he looks and sounds human enough (mostly) but bringing up a concept like regeneration will

huh, did Moffat really say that? sounds very un-Moffaty to me. considering how annoyingly drawn out previous plot points and mysteries were. but I'd greatly appreciate if the vault thing was resolved earlier rather than later.

Bill and the Doctor currently have a student/teacher relationship but I'd think it nice if it evolved into a kind of granddaughter/grandfather relationship instead.

could be since Moffat or it could only be a sensible lie since it'd be very weird to explain to Bill's housemates that her professor helped her move. they'd even suspect they had an affair or similar because why would a professor help a random student move? so to make things and explanations shorter she simply went

I actually thought the last line of this episode would be Bill asking the Doctor to crash at his place the TARDIS for a bit. but since she still has her room at her guardian's she'll likely just go back there.
though a lot of funny bits could be garnered by having Bill live in the TARDIS like the Doctor standing at

I found it a bit odd there was no foreshadowing, the doctor could have dropped one line "it takes around 48h for the building to completely digest its victims" and we would have been fine but since we actually saw the ppl getting eaten I didn't think there was a way back at all.

I also wonder, even if the house is gone the space lice still live, no? and since there are a lot of trees and other buildings around it's easy to assume they infested everything around them. I actually expected the doctor to burn down the building/lice but it seems they're free to wreck harm elsewhere.
it'd be

"EVERYBODY LIVES!"
I was surprised and very glad the house mates returned! of course a lot of ppl and extras always die but those were Bill's friends so them dying would affect her far more than a boy dying in front of her and similar. it's sappy and from a story telling point it'd have made more sense if they stayed

"just Britta it"? I'm not familiar with this term or reference so could you kindly elaborate?
I'd simply think it funny if they were to kiss when nobody's looking and such but given the dark tone of this series I don't really think it'll happen. heck even their supposedly still burning flame was only brought up in

you're right and even in the first movie we saw those moments, especially the "trolling" part. still, I thought he was simply loyal to his men but I wouldn't have expected him to lay down his life for peter. and on the other hand he had no trouble killing the traitors with his arrow in a most spectacular way so he

so they can murder/rape and anything but for some innocent reason only kids are off limits? while I think that's pretty stupid if those are indeed the rules then I suppose yondu did redeem himself because raising peter was better than handing him over to this evil planet. just think about it, if ego really raised
