but we haven't seen the kid actor of william do anything much so it's too soon to say whether or not he's up to the task. let's just wait and see.

good way to think about it. it could very well be that they tried to completely avoid all pitfalls of the previous season and thus completely did away with romance (and other plot points) until things calmed down, so to say.

yep, that was fun! wait until he gets an iPod or, dare I say it?, iPhone.

considering how many ppl turn out to be speedsters that's not as improbable as it should be *sigh*.

of course the kid won't die, it's still a comic book based CW show. but the same doesn't go for the mother.

how did he even do that? he properly studied and worked as a lawyer which is very time consuming yet he still had enough free time to constantly stalk oliver?

that's a staple in every show; the baddie knowing about hidden relatives, bad deeds the hero did, about anything really to touch the heroes heart strings. it's never explained only it's supposed to make the viewers think how smart and dangerous the baddies are.

funny you should say so because especially in those "11 months before" flashbacks I caught myself thinking "stephen amell is really handsome. and so is emily bett-rickards". I mean of course they are but when they have more normal interactions, when they laugh and have fun together instead of constant drama and death

I quite agree, her character was as it's low point a few seasons ago when she cried almost always when on screen. she's been developed nicely ever since and it's good to see her as real human with strengths and weaknesses just like everyone else.

wasn't this natural chemistry between amell and bett-rickards the whole reason why their characters developed a romantic relationship? or that's at least how I remember hearing it.

I think once they're back together (after this episode it'd be more than surprising if it won't happen in the near-ish future) they'll have more trusting and drama free relationship than before.

and just before that we've gotten felicity stabbing oliver with said adrenaline needle without hesitation. she also sewed his wounds without anesthetics so you know she's not squeamish anymore.

I think that sounds pretty much like the series ending. oliver (mostly) retiring from active duty and focusing on being mayor with felicity by his side. meanwhile thea or one of the new recruits takes over as main defender of star city.

this episode's honest title: And then romance happens.

meh, why not? it's comic book verse so characters dying and coming back next season is feasible, no? of course if barry were to die (for real) but then come back a while later anyway then savitar would come back as well. probably?

wouldn't all be save if current barry were to die? a remake of the eddie sacrifice, but if current barry dies then he naturally can not become savitar and all be well.
unless evil scar barry is not the future of "our" barry but from another universe? multiple time lines? does anyone know how it works?

oh yeah, forgot about the explosive finger snap! that was definitely a neat little trick~

perhaps meta powers alone are tempting ppl to the dark side? would explain why most ppl who got meta powers became villains.

that is not true, future and present flash are staring angrily at each other! isn't that enough?

he has killed a perfectly good plot?
