didn't he only fluke a bit to make his story more exciting, to make his underdog journey more inspiring? he's proud of his accomplishments and made his past a tad bit more colorful than it actually was. or that's at least my take on it.

one must never forget that deep inside Tom Kirkman the heart of Jack Bauer is still beating. Beware the nice ones!

while that most likely is true I don't read each and every commentary section so there's that. my elation should have been clearer focused.

since we haven't seen her in ages I simply assumed eobard destroyed her/took her with him when he tried to go back to the future.

yup, arrow is doing really good this season but the previous two were so bad it left deep scars in the audiences' memories.

yes but barry isn't dating two dozen ppl at the same time so that can't explain his perplexing decisions.

agreed, season one barry/flash was great! but now it seems the writers just can't stick to character development and growth and thus for convenience's sake they make barry stuck in a loop of idiocy and bad decisions.

"they just don't make the new ones like they used to do."

well actors don't come cheap, who'd pay them?!

to be fair both barry and kara aren't allowed to be anything but a perfectly pure and clean role model and messia in the making. those around them have some weird expectations of them.

there could be so many trivial reasons for the byline to change. perhaps iris changed jobs, perhaps she wrote a different article, perhaps she was on holiday, perhaps she was working on another piece, perhaps she was using a pen name, perhaps she was with barry and disappeared as well, perhaps she was home sick with a

remember when barry, thanks to some flash-studying, could hold his own against wells? good times!

well tvtropes has it down as "dawson casting" so there's that. but I agree, it's especially unnerving to have wally be referred as "child" and of course the whole "kid flash" thing. which teenager/tweenager would want the nickname "kid"? just call him yellow flash or something instead.

once barry overcomes this slup and unlocks more of his true potential, the power of heart and all that he'll surely be faster than wally.

and don't forget in the pilot he didn't have any competition yet. or at least he didn't know there were other speedsters around when he said those words.

I was excited to see eddie back and also the other characters such as captain cold (always a win, always!) but I'm sad this turned out to be yet another character lesson garnished with some pep talk. can't this show PLEASE dredge up another mantra than "I have to get faster!" I mean sure, he's the flash and for some

ever since we saw this place I wondered how a police lab tech and a local reporter could afford such a roomy apartment. the only answer I can think of is that barry bought it dirt cheap since it actually fell apart and was in a pathetic condition. but he did all the renovation himself with his super flash powers

true. well let's see where this is going but I'm sure it's not the last we heard of the shadowy organization or individuals actually controlling macleish.

well it's kind of an explanation but a really weak one. he could simply say "I might be the fastest man alive" which would also round up the later lane about being fast enough to safe them. because a lot of time barry really wasn't fast enough to safe whoever he had to.

would that be "500 years in the speedforce"? I'm very sure at some point barry'll end up trapped there for an extended period of time. I only hope while being there he won't go to hong kong, russia and more.
