the writers really do love to heap trouble upon kirkman, don't they? insubordination, unclear paternity, traitors and now even being shot. but I do like how we see kirkman slowly evolve, learn and getting stronger. yep, if it comes down to it he really can do it and it's interesting to witness this.
and of course in

it would have been better if the last shot of the previous episode showed the first lady on the floor with blood on her chest. we would have been left to think she was shot and might die but the reveal would be that it was kirkman instead.

nay, after kirkman finishes his term/s and honorably retires she becomes his successor and prim and properly elected president. that's also what she wants, being president but not right now.

I have often thought "can't we pull a 'designated survivor' on this?" while reading recent newspapers.
this show is the ultimate wish fulfillment for adults.

I wonder why did he open up the stock markets when everyone told him that was a bad idea? unless there's an underlying plot/command from those in power I can only assume he really did think he was smarter than the rest and this would inspire confidence in him or something. should the president die after all he'd be

since it's that kind of show I actually wouldn't be surprised if the assassin did indeed survive. bonus points for taking out macleish and his wife before he dies for real later on.

I must say those few short moments when we saw kirkman/kiefer sutherland push down and protect his wife and then saw all the blood on her chest I was all "no, I don't want her to die! they're such a great team." but it was his blood instead so she wasn't in any danger of dying. it was nicely set up, even though it

creepy technology but great name! when I first heard about it I naturally immediately thought about doctor who but then decided it was just a coincidence and that the CIA would hardly name their spying operations after a doctor who villain. I suppose I was wrong. but at least we now also know how to thwart it; don't

isn't barry's situation similar to felicity's in "arrow"? both are expected to always be good and have the power of heart and all but both aren't without darkness and this pressure might be the reason they're starting to flirt with the darker side.

timey whimey?!

oh please, losing arms is the new shoulder injury in bleach~

"can't we play hopscotch instead?!"

but, but ….shoulder injuries are always "just a flesh wound" aren't they? I mean thousands of henchmen in action movies can't be wrong!

oliver queen has more chemistry with his quiver…….look, it's been lonely on the island and abroad for so long.

I still miss patty, she was such a great character and not reduced to her love for the MC.

barry ending up being trapped in the speed force and thereby freeing wally at the end of the season is likely. I could even see the first one or two episodes of the next season with wally as protagonist but it won't last and go back to grant gustin/the flash.

wouldn't barry be a poster child for the idiom "the path to hell is paved with good intentions."? because clearly barry wants to do good but he makes horrible decisions at times.

I guess that's just bad or lazy writing. SO MUCH could be accomplished if barry wouldn't always pause before he attacks an enemy/saves someone and simply does what he came to do in full force. if he never stopped and straight out pulled wally away I'm sure the later would be fine now.
but that'd make barry too strong a

I think joe simply felt left out and wanted to be the first to congratulate them.

it's fine, barry'll likely redeem himself by the end of the season by taking on wally's place inside the speedforce. if it's really like savitar said and someone has to be there you can betch your spandex clad backside barry'll sacrifice himself for wally's sake. once again proving how selfless and good he is and also
