There is not a single part of this Diggle plot that makes any kind of sense.

I wish they would stop bringing up the familial connection. For all time. I don't get why they keep doing it.

I'm glad that it wasn't a one-and-done thing and that he isn't completely over it, and I get that Digg's beyond seeing SOME reason right now, but giving up the fight against TREASON accusations is just kind of…wha? Especially since that means the guys who framed him are gonna get away with it.

Not really on board with this Diggle storyline. It's been ill-conceived from the start (as a lot of things with this show are), since Andy actually threatened Diggle's daughter (f*ck you, Barry) and wife and didn't appear to be bluffing - it's not like Diggle just flew off the handle over something stupid and murdered

I just don't think anything about them is particularly sweet, I guess? We came into the story with Barry already head over heels, which is cool, but when Iris's "feelings" started taking a turn, we weren't really given much of a reason for that other than her considering "destiny." Now that seems to be the motivating

It's a little like a very strong wind blowing two cardboard cutouts into each other.

Instead of trading "I do's" they'll be like, "I guess so?"

I missed part of the beginning, but I didn't quite get what they were going for with the Iris-is-bored-of-regulary-Barry, but somehow jazzed about being with hybrid BarryFlash. The way the show handles this ship is so weird.

I was surprised it was handled fairly well - until she got sent off to some new, unsuspecting family, haha.

Glad Iris and Barry continue to "do this thing" and "give this thing another shot."

I've wanted to punch Barry in his stupid face many, many times, but perhaps never harder than when new forensics guy said something along the lines of, "Want to know why I don't like you?"

What killed me about Iris going to bat for him was that she sold it as some quick, stupid decision when IIRC, Barry thought about it before hand? He went to her in the original timeline and basically told her he had to do it and kissed her before he left. I feel like the writers were gaslighting us or something.

My issue with The Flash is one that the writers don't seem to notice or want to fix, and that issue is that Barry is awful.

That's not true. Marc Guggenheim posted a response on Tumblr to someone who mentioned reddit users writing petitions to get him fired - specifically one to Geoff Johns. I believe Guggenheim missed a word in his answer, but what he pretty much said was that he was sure Geoff Johns and a mess of other people had been

Based on interviews by the producers over the hiatus, they've been talking up Diggle being affected by Flashpoint in a "major way." How they're going to explain it to people who don't watch The Flash, IDK, but it does seem like it's going to carry over.

Yeah, I thought he wasn't having headaches anymore because he's now in a timeline where he's The Flash.

Well, yeah. But how else are they going to explain Diggle having a son and not a daughter for people who don't watch Flash? I'm guessing they needed Felicity to have the knowledge so she can make an aside to herself, or maybe to someone else about Barry changing the timeline so that when the son shows up the audience

Felicity was necessary to alert her and the Arrow viewers that Barry time traveled Diggle into having a son instead of a daughter, because I'm sure that's gonna come up.

From what I understand, yes it is. And it's not just that they have a boy now instead of a girl, it seems as if they have an older boy. Because Sara was two, and John Jr. is definitely not.

Hopefully. Since everyone pretty much forgave him within five minutes, Iris and Joe were back on speaking terms, Cisco wanted to be his frand again, and he still got the girl - doesn't seem like he learned much of a lesson.
