They did destroy the idol, but in true Arrowverse fashion, they for whatever reason put it back together again.

I hope the finale involves a giant explosion that turns half of Star City into an IRL Jiffy Pop.

Tonight's flashbacks almost made me long for the lady with the terrible accent whose name I can't remember, and all the stuff on the island I don't care about.
