I said it after last year's trailer and I say it after this one: From the looks of it this is promising to being the best season of the show, yet.

I read this book for the first time when I was about the same age the kids in it were in 1958 (which was some fifteen to seventeen years ago, I don't remember exactly). I was surprised to read about it in such graphic detail, sure, but I don't remember being as shocked or outraged about it as most adults apparently

You're right. Then again, it might not be possible for a two hour movie to do the book and its brilliant structure justice. Which is why I always favored a four- or five-part miniseries over a big screen adaption.

Uuuuuuuuh…. what the fucking hell was this I just watched? You all saw it, too. Right? Right?

Apparently, Roseanne's coming back, too.

But wasn't that one like two hours long? So, it could be counted as two.

She's filling in for the Log.

Have you ever tried to go mad without power? It's boring, nobody listens to you.

Jesus, it's a trailer. The goal is to speak to as big an audience as you possibly can to make this a box office hit. It says nothing about what point the ultimate movie is going to make.

If they could tie him to that role like that and have him appear in the Flagg incarnation in The Stand/Eye of the Dragon/more Dark Tower movies… that would be awesome. Never imagined him as Flagg while reading the books, but now that I've seen him in the trailer the part seems to have been written with him in mind.

Yep.

Wasn't it renewed for two more seasons?

Somehow… that hits the nail on the head for me, as well.

Not anymore.

Already announced? Do you guys actually read the articles that you are quoting?

Or maybe just Bob Ross on endless repeat.

You'll do that. I won't be joining you. I'm still immensly proud of myself that I managed to get out after the first season. Doesn't seem like I missed a lot.

Since when does NBC have a thursday crowd?

I have, indeed. Worth a look, I take it?
