Then having her husband execute her makes even less sense.

The review says they're in London at that point. So I thought the same thing. Just arrest her.
I'm from Boston. I thought Keaton's accent in Spotlight was fine. I liked that the movie didn't go all "Paahk the caah ovaah they-ah, ya Fackin Queaahs." Sometimes the Boston movies get carried away with the accents.
"Why" got cancelled due to not being funny.
I say "Fuck" all the time and I agree it felt forced. Plus didn't the "Roadies" show or whatever it is have some British bossy type show up and get all "FUCKING FUCK"y? Maybe that's it's real thing, but British yelly sweary guy thing I find annoying.
Our local theater won't let anyone see it under 18, even with a parent. Taking no chances.
"he was in the British version of the marines". Who are also called Marines. Well, Royal Marines.
If I were The Reverend, I'd consider getting some additional clergy help, not just Kyle. After seeing the number of video tapes, and considering the size of the town, you've gotta think the possessed to population ratio is higher than most places.
I was being a little cheeky. The Babadook was pretty widely discussed on here when it came out. As was It Follows, which came out around the same time. I don't remember the exact timeline, but I remember a lot of discussions about both of them, including a lot of "I liked this one better than that one". So a…
I'm not sure if anyone here has heard of "It Follows". But that was pretty good too.
I can't disagree that The Revenant was violent. I didn't feel it was sadistic, though with graphic bear attacks, rape (NOT bear rape), castration, scalpings and murder, you could make the case.
Juaja sucked. While it looked pretty good, it was boring, pretentious and at times bafflingly annoying. The Hateful Eight is overrated. It's like most Tarrintino movies: not nearly as clever as he thinks and way too sadistically violent. And The Revenant is straight awesome and I hope it wins every award*.
I love this show. And I suspend a lot of disbelief because of it's dream/nightmare-like logic. But when Alcide (the cop looking for Adele's baby) had that conversation with Lucy it drove me nuts. Paraphrasing:
The priest betrayed Simon by calling the police when Simone visited him in Season 1. I don't get the impression it's anything deeper or more sinister than that.
I thought the priest was waiting at the Church to marry Adele and Simon and the police came to the Church to report Simon's death. They reported it as a suicide.
What's the big idea?
Ok. That's obvious. But where? Did they find another large opening on the surface? Because this episode just showed them repel down and immediately go into a large cave system. If it was that easy to find, why did the need the camera, other than being able to show us that admittedly cool shot of the person last…
And what's the deal with the cave? Last week they couldn't descend more than 500' and needed a special camera. This week "the geologist found another way" and they could just walk down. Did they find another giant hole? Because if that cave was accessible from the first giant hole the whole time, I call shenanigans
So what's Pierre's deal now? The dead are just dead, they don't feel pain and "we should show them no mercy". Does he want to hunt them down and destroy them?
I got your "American Hero" right here for ya.
