No wonder Glaser didn't take off, being Catholic and all.

"producing a blank mise en scène in which nothing behind or around the actors means anything, unless it literally says “Brecht” in big letters. "

I think I see her hand.

Is the thing about the Gilbert and Sullivan parody a reference to Studio 60? Is the reviewer aware not everyone has seen that show? And that he's supposed to be reviewing "I'm dying up here" currently on Showtime, not a show that aired 10 years ago?

In Season 2, Rachel McAdams character says incredulously that the bad guys were pinning the murder of that guard guy at the whorehouse on her. To which I thought "well, you did kill him. It's not that big a stretch"

I enjoyed it pretty well. But I'm not sure I could give a good plot description with a gun to my head. Something about a dead prostitute and missing kids and meth chemists and a conspiracy (that goes all the way to the top!!). For the life of me I couldn't tell you who the bad guy at the end was. Friend of mine lived in Nunavut for years. Said the best looking women he ever saw were Greenlandic women, a great mix of Innuit and Danish.

Random indeed. But if he came to New England, I'd get my old knees over to see him.

By the end, I disliked her and hated all her friends and family even more.

I wouldn't say this was a movie I liked, but it sticks with you. Some strong cinematography, though at other times severely underlit, especially in the hospital scenes (I'm sure that was the director's intention, but I found it distracting). And definitely some creepy, weird, kinda disturbing stuff going on. I

This. Drives me batty.
