He told her when she moved to San Francisco that he thought she couldn't do it. That's pretty crappy to tell your girlfriend. It's been there, in places, and has flared up now.

We have no idea how well it's doing or if the gap between other shows was huge or small so this discussion of ratings is moot. But I thought the viewers would drop off. 1. you have to pay for it 2. you have to have a computer or streaming device to watch it and not everyone does 3. it's not automatically dvr'ed, you

Yeah, something is going down, but we don't know if it's a breakup. Also, it's spoiled? They haven't even written the episodes for after Christmas and haven't shot anything yet. Is it probable? Sure. But we know nothing yet.

He told her to lose 15 pounds in the pilot. Danny has been grumpy but also mean to a degree. I think it's the compounding of all the issues he's been dealing with that have pushed him over the edge in a stressful time. He's scared so he's reacting this way.

He's always said crappy stuff. Danny fluctuates based on what's going on in his life. He's not perfect. People do crappy stuff and say crappy stuff when scared, when they want to get what they want.

You think. We have no idea what happens yet. And moving out doesn't have to mean breaking up. I can't wait to see what they do!

Mindy realizing she needs to do what's important to her. Girl power. Showing how even though you want something, it may not be what's best for you. Realizing she's not happy and trying to fix that? They may break up, but tonight's ending doesn't signify that they have. I can see Danny trying to move in with her or him

It's coming in 2nd because that show has 20 years of episodes compared to 3.5 of Mindy's. Also, you have to pay to watch TMP, do you have to pay to watch South Park?

Mindy likes to do different from most comedies.

They haven't broken up.

Because he only changes when he's going to lose something. Then he's himself again. That's pretty real for some people.

Danny's had a ton of life changes and he's reverting back to what he knows. It's not really out of character, it's just the piling on of having a baby, getting engaged, his father being sick, etc.

They haven't broken up. They're going to address issues. Not solve them in one 30 minute episode. THAT is what people are seeing that they like.

He said last week if they have more kids, Mindy would have to stay home. That's why he wants to have more kids. They said it flat out. It's all in order to get her to quit working.

Huh? They're not even broken up yet.

He also didn't have a child before, a fiancee who changed her mind about what she wants, a dad who almost died. The pressures have expanded greatly. Most of us react badly when stressed, scared, and during huge life changes. Danny is no different.

I know that. I want to know what they think TMP is falling into? I think Mindy is doing different than most shows, not the same stuff we usually see.

What are the tropes?

Hulu doesn't release ratings. Mindy loves comedy but also the rom-com. She wants to really explore this relationship. She loves Danny and Mindy but they are very different, so all their differences are coming out now that Leo's born and the cover up of their differences is blown off by real life. Danny's insecure.

You mean smart writing.
