Yes, the consequences of Danny being an ass means that Mindy isn't taking it anymore and she's moving out. It's not rewriting, it's how life happens.

Haha, Franco would be all over this! Yes, I hope they do go to therapy. They need it because they're not communicating, but will be funny too!
I loved this episode. It's great storytelling about a relationship that isn't perfect, that's not going to be resolved at the end of the episode like most shows, and has so much realness.
Like real life. It's not resolve it at the end of the episode every week which becomes formulaic and boring. This is good storytelling that is like life. They love each other, they want different things, are having a hard time communicating that, but hopefully will figure out how to make it work.
It's not out of nowhere wanting Mindy to stay home. When he found out she was pregnant he wanted her to stay home with the kid and make sauce. He's always wanted Mindy to be stay at home. I think it took it to another level wanting her to have more kids, so that she would have to stay home.
Shallow? You mean more like real life? Sure TV usually takes the black and white stories, but this is great because it's not that. It's real. It's hard, sad, painful, and amazingly good. I'm loving this. Mindy Lahiri rocks. And she knows what she needs now.
I wish! Remember his upset at flying on a plane with two women pilots? And his first desire for Mindy to stay home with their kid and make sauce? This is pretty on track for him, sadly.
The problem is that so many fans think Danny's the perfect guy and can't see that this is all in character for him.
They shot these first 13 episodes crazily out of order, I think to be able to have Messina there for these last episodes. They're done shooting for the season until after the new year, I think. Hopefully that movie will be over by then.
Danny's never been a feminist. Quite the opposite in fact!
Danny's "Are you kidding me?" to Mindy suggesting that he stay home if he's so concerned about Leo having family around all the time made me want to wring Danny's neck! This guy.
Mindy was on her book tour while this episode was filmed, but kudos for thinking she was too tired and decided to skip a week? WTF?
I'm loving this season! I like the exploration of what Mindy staying at home or not will look like. Very realistic and problematic for families. Wasn't a fan of Jody. I want Chelsea back from last week! Also where is Grandma? Tamra rocked this episode. I'd love for her, Jeremy, and Beverly to get more screentime, not…
I loved this episode. I thought it was so funny, and I think this season has been the best so far. I love how this show doesn't use the typical tropes for comedies with couples. This couple has been different. Having a baby without being married and not making that a big deal. Not having them be "will they or won't…
