The best part of that song is he manages to talk about himself in the first-, second-, AND third-person. It's actually kind of impressive.

I dunno. What Cheryl said seemed like more of a warning than a threat.

…So you're saying this isn't about Latin Lover Narrator from Jane the Virgin?

This is exactly what I was thinking.

Personally, I thought he looked like Human Shrek from Shrek 2.

Did anyone else catch the failed oil tycoon line? That has to be a reference to that show Scott Michael Foster was on last season, right? Am I reading too far into this?

Did Gordo's dad die? We saw him get shot, but that might not have been fatal.

Did someone tell Thea she wasn't actually talking to Laurel? This felt particularly cruel after the whole alien-induced alt-reality thing.

I liked this one overall, but I really wish they would've shown more about William's story instead of the other guy. It was hard to get invested in a character we'll most likely never see again and only saw for about a minute prior to this. That whole plotline felt completely unnecessary.

Last week's emphasis on motivation was such a great set-up for this week's reveal. I love it.

It just occured to me that maybe this episode explained why Tahani's score is significantly lower than Chidi's and Real Eleanor's: she did a lot of good deeds, but they were done (at least partially) in an effort to get out of her sister's shadow, so her motivation was muddled.

I love that they completely threw a wrench in the love triangle with this episode and had her end up with neither.

My beef with him is mostly that he would even consider getting back together with Olivia in the first place. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt that what he said sounded worse than how he meant it. But yeah, he was kind of an idiot tonight all around.

I'm so mad at Kevin right now. Sloane* is clearly the superior choice. Why did he even have to think about it?

Now her hair matches her personality.

In other news, my sister is very sorry she called that Casey Affleck movie "Manchester United" last night. She hopes no fans of the movie or team were offended by this.

To be fair to the "little brat", she didn't know she'd be foiling her dad's murder plot by leaving the clarinet there.

I'm not even a fan, but that really was something.

That 1993 timestamp at the beginning really threw me off. I had to go back to make sure I wasn't seeing things.

Back when I first watched her season forever ago as it aired I started calling her "Crazy Nanny Lady" and I still call her that now no matter what she pops up in. Bananas is definitely an accurate description of OTH. You really have to be able to embrace the absurdity of it all to fully enjoy it.
