This sounds fantastic, I had no idea it existed until now, and I can't wait to see it.

Captain America's theme is a solid hero track, and GotG makes great use of licensed music, but yeah.

I may hate everything these jackboot fucks stand for and are trying to do, but nobody deserves to be killed and I hope they pull through. There were some utterly vile reactions here earlier when the news broke, and I hope we can avoid a repeat of that. We are better than a fucking mass shooter, no matter what that

Oh, the Westworld review comments were so pissy when it turned out the theories they didn't want to be true not only turned out to be true, but worked better than they thought they would. So much of the backlash that show seems to face now can be traced back to that.

It was ten years ago.

For once, I have to admit Nintendo had the best showing of the big three. If only because my hype for the new Metroids still hasn't died down, while I'm mostly just pleasantly looking forward to these games as I would most other anticipated releases.

Univision is making all of the Onion sites, A.V. Club included, switch over from Disqus to Kinja (the wretched, nigh-unusable commenting system the Gawker sites use) so that they can manage content more easily and sell all of the sites to advertisers in one bundle. It will most likely happen within a month or so, but

"People in the internet will complain about any major change to a system that they regularly use,"

I was so sure this would never happen. Now I'm as hyped as if Valve had come out and announced Half-Life 3.

If they're following on from the teasers at the end of Prime 3 and the awful Federation Force, the threat will probably be Sylux, one of the villains from Metroid Prime Hunters, with his own batch of Metroids. If they're not following on from that, that's two secret endgame cutscenes made worthless.

Girls Gone Wildling

No, but there's a guy in office who's kind of a tyrannical asshole and I don't like him very much. I'm sure I could draw a connection between the two situations in Thinkpieces 12-17.

We need at least eighteen more thinkpieces spaced out over the following months! How else are we supposed to feel good about ourselves?

Bullets would be a mercy. You must carry on living your life, knowing that you like Dragon Ball: Evolution.

Per the article linked below, Univision just wants to switch all of the Onion sites to Kinja so they can sell them as a package deal with the Gawker sites to advertisers.

Well I'm out.

Oh, he was mostly good in Se7en.

He has his strengths, and he has a lot of weaknesses ("WHAT'S IN THE BAAAAWKS"). When he gets a role that plays to what he does well, though (ie Fight Club, 12 Monkeys, etc), he's really good.

The Flash's decline somehow revitalized Arrow and Legends, though — the former being the best it's been since the Slade season. I'd give their most recent seasons a strong recommendation.

Season 2 was stellar, and the critical narrative that it dropped the ball frustrates me. Minor pacing problems and a few opaque mysteries shouldn't be enough to detract from the compelling storytelling, nuanced character work, and an ever-expanding cast of great performances.
