There absolutely should be high art and entertainment, and people should enjoy both. They shouldn't drag high art down to be entertainment.

AMATEUR CONTRACT LAWYERS FOR JUSTICE….

You're right, Watchmen is nothing more than repurposed Charleton characters.

They ruin the perfectness of Watchmen as a work and cheapen it as an artistic achievement.

Whether or not you like Moore's work or not doesn't change the fact that Watchmen has, for years, been held up as an example of the comics form being art and not just lowbrow genre entertainment in a kid's medium. It is one of the books you gave people to show comics was more than Batman/Superman/Reverse-Flash. And

Yeah it was. On form alone, Watchmen is amazing.

Do you think he's writing the Nazis as good guys?

Needed The Comedian.

The failure of Captain America to kill Nazis in that movie was embarrassing. We need to be teaching kids that Nazis were bad now that our actual Nazi killers are sadly leaving this world

PROFESSOR ZOOM THE REVERSE FLASH

Do you think that since Hanna Barbara comics are part of the multiverse that we can have an OFFICIAL Snagglepuss/Adam Strange/Night Owl teamup because fully functional human beings like me demand it?

Do you think Doctor Manhattan can manipulate the speed force because these are questions that people should be asking and obviously what Alan Moore intended for his completely closed piece of art?

Does this mean Rorschach can meet Brandon Routh from Legends of Tomorrow because nothing is sacred and art is nothing but branding?

Like seriously, imagine someone teaching Watchmen in a literature class and then somebody standing up and talking about the freaking Multiverse.

Ugh. Multiverse in proximity to Watchmen. The epitome of nerd trash mixed with one of comics lasting artistic achievements. Gross.

He was an actual Nazi in Multiversity. And I am sure that isn't even the first time. Not counting the numerous times he is a storm trooper for the fascist Darkseid

So Geoff Johns and company is going to do the same story they've told 100 times before (infinite crisis, etc) and retread ground that has been done by Morrison in Seven Soldiers and to a lesser extent Multiversity.

All the backlash is silly. Superman, a character created by two Jewish men, has been turned bad and into a goon in many storylines over the years in comics, TV, video games and now probably a movie. You know what lasting effects it has had on the character? Zero.

YEAH, IT'S REALLY KEWL HOW FUNNY HE IS WHILE BEING IN A COURT OF LAW WITH HIS CUSTODY RIGHTS AT STAKE OR WHEN HE WENT ON ABOUT HOW MURDERED ELEMENTARY SCHOOL KIDS WERE JUST FAKIN' IT.

Has that stupid cartoon test evolved to the point where a movie can fail it multiple times?
