Wow, that was painful. This has been the season of self-sabotage.

It would be amazing if this show ended with Joan filming TROG.

The scene where Better finally cracks and gasps for air cutting to the flashbulbs firing on Joan was masterfully done.

The time-traveling 05 work as soft reboots of the characters—Jean Grey without the baggage of the Phoenix and her many deaths and resurrections, Scott Summers before he became (for many fans) utterly unlikeable, and Angel before all the "he's Archangel, no he has his original wings, he's Archangel again, now he has

As glad as I am to see IvX dead and buried, X-Men: Prime was pretty disappointing, primarily because it's such a weak rehash of Whedon/Cassaday's Astonishing X-Men #1 (Kitty returns to the Xavier Institute after a long absence, has flashbacks to famous Claremont scenes, etc.) Bringing Kitty back to, presumably, date

I mean, there's no way you cut Alyssa rolling around the workroom floor with a toy gun and a Dolly Parton wig, that shit's legendary.

Love Katya but no, I don't think her lip syncs deserved to win.

I don't think it helped that this season also drastically cut back on the more casual workroom time, so we mostly saw the queens when they were tense and focused (or afraid of being sent home).

In its own way, I think the "Queens send each other home" twist was as big of a mistake as the paired teams in Season 1. I don't think RuPaul anticipated it would be such a double-edged sword, with fans turning against the queen who won the most challenges, but also sent more fan favorites home. (As much as I love

I've personally seen way more hate thrown at the queens who saved her rather than Roxxxy herself—but absolutely agreed, none of them should be getting attacked on social media.

Even if Roxxxy's outstayed her welcome, she's pretty much completely redeemed her image from Season 5, where she came across as viciously mean and petty. She shed the "Villain" label so this season was definitely a win for her.

Well, RuPaul certainly got all the drama she wanted out of the "queens eliminate each other" twist, didn't she?

Man, I don't know how anyone could get "Stepford" from anything Alaska does.

"Pants on the Runway"

It's super telling that when Alyssa came back, she immediately and enthusiastically partnered up with *the queen who sent her home* while after her elimination Phi Phi rejected Alyssa's hug and walked away. What a difference a good attitude makes.

Total agreement on Katya. Her placement in the bottom three was so transparent and undeserved.

ALL HAIL LIL POUNDCAKE

Oliver picked the perfect image for this review. Alyssa Edwards wearing a Dolly Parton wig/Joker jacket/Beyonce shirt combo while holding a golden toy gun like one of Charlie's Angels is truly a "once in a lifetime" moment.

It's like when Adore clocked Gia Gunn impersonating Selena. How do you make these regal women who are known for their tragic, untimely deaths funny? Not even the song knew what to do with Diana. (Cause, yeah, when people think of Diana they think she was "thorny.")

Ever see Bjork on Space Ghost Coast to Coast? That was Katya's Bjork. "Do you like sulfur?"
