"We cannot let mainstream conservative Islamic beliefs, such as those concerning forced marriages, covering up or apostasy, all of which I have experienced in my extended family, be celebrated or considered acceptable for the sake of keeping peace"

"he purposely leaves the audience with the impression that any Muslim (third-generation from St. Louis, e.g.) is more likely to be a bigot than his Presbyterian, Baptist, or atheist neighbors. Which is false."

Now with more awkward pauses, dead air, and an even less appealing host!

And *top* schools (RISD, Yale), where he tends to overshadow students who got their on merit.

"Rekulak’s writing style is so visual and his story so neat and contained it practically begs to be adapted into a movie…There’s even a mixtape of period love songs that’s key to the plot that could provide a soundtrack."

Quentin Tarantino, after the big success of "Pulp Fiction", was offered some big Hollywood films.
He said he was offered "Speed" (which, in his words, was originally conceived as an artsy action movie) and also passed on "Men In Black".

The Beatles once bought a chain of private islands in Greece with the plan of making a sort of commune, each Beatle having his own house and a large studio. They even talked about an underground tunnel system like Depp wants (maybe that's where he got the idea). Like a lot of groovy ideas they had, it never amounted

Needs it to live. Next question

Yeah, seems like a huge omission if you're writing about this subject.

"But studios have been known to hand Sundance success stories massive projects, especially if they happen to be white men."

Holy shit, Cigarettes And Red Vines (90s-era PTA fansite) still exists

If I want political coverage, I might turn to The NY Times, Wash Post, New Republic, New York Magazine, etc. Not the fucking AV Club.

AV Club is really punching above their weight with political posts, their writers aren't up to it and the audience is just wondering what happened to AVC (when did it turn into a Buzzfeed wannabe? When Univision bought it out and then bought Gawker?).

Spielberg's been a big video game fan since the early days and has produced some titles himself, like "Medal of Honor". I think "Boom Blox" for Nintendo Wii was one of the best-reviewed games with Spielberg as a designer.

Plus Ben Stiller is adapting "Super Sad True Love Story', there's going to be a LOT of satires about dystopian USA coming out.

Oh no, *white* people, how awful! And they didn't major in STEM? Kill them!

Yes.

Yup, should be #1 on this list honestly.

How are those quality Samsung products treating you?
Also: are you and Diplo the same person?
