Yeah, lynchings take way more thoughtful planning than people think. Don't even get me started on the nightmare logistics of planning something like Kristalnacht. Trump just liked to keep things spontaneous when he told supporters to punch protestors at his rallies.

I would only be happy if his mentor was a live action Hondo.

They did try "Overwatch" for, like, a whole mission once.

Hmm. Let's see. Woman, Pakistani-American, Chinese, Nazi…

And they, what, inject you with blood…?

That's the problem. There's always one more plot to get through before it's "good" or "normal". S'why I don't buy those comics.

It's so interesting to me that you had the need to type this.

Oh my god. I want to be this woman's best friend. Imagine having that in your life all the time. She's awesome.

I just realized this is Future!Carter. I wonder how he'll like 2016?

I never understand the rules for time travel on this show beyond one episode, or even beyond one scene. It's so inconsistent, I just throw my hands up and go along for the ride. If there's anything this show should have done, it should have established some basic rules first instead of just "how does time travel work

No, wait. His producer has to be someone completely skeevy and gross. And then he gets the "starlet" treatment.

Edit: dammit. I shouldn't read and chew gum at he same time

That's a really good point. I absolutely think it works and it's something that it's a discussion that should be happening in that universe right now. I don't think SHIELD is wrong for bringing up the subject. Rather, I'm just slightly annoyed with the real life production side of things.

Right, sorry. I had inhumans on the brain.

Of course. I think the Russos probably made the right call. But I still think this was a slight screwup.

True, but in this case they only have one on-going tv show and one movie division. All they need to do is keep them from contradicting each other.

Hey! Leave The Family Circus out of this!

Oh, definitely. (I admit I'm not up on all the behind the scenes Marvel politics). I think I'm just offended-but-not-really at what seems to be a lack of effort to keep consistent canon across their massive shared universe. I don't expect people making a huge movie to take time out to brief SHIELD showrunners, but I'd

I'm concerned it's May too.

My observations: As soon as they started talking about "inhuman registration", I was just… what?? What? I hope some AV Club writer collects the interviews and quotes where the Russos stated that they deliberately moved away from the Inhuman Registration Act of the comics and made it the Sokovia Accords- political and
