Heck ya the Maid-Rite! Had my first one a few years ago (oddly enough, passing through Muscatine), had no idea what I was getting into, but really enjoyed it.
It really is an acquired taste. Texture is 'off' from what you would expect, but the flavor is there - so it's a bit of a cognitive disconnect.

That was one of the few soundtrack albums I got before I had even seen the movie. A friend had thrown a track from it onto a road trip mix – and I dug it so much I went and bought the CD. It was sometime later that I saw the film. Still makes some rotation in my playlists.
