The link didn't work.. But I love the idea.

Welcome to the NEW AGE!

Not "Empire".

Ok, I actually agree. Not a bad album. I noticed something was wrong with Sam's Town (which even has "Read My Mind" on it, which is a solid track) and once they released the terrible Joy Division "Shadowplay" cover I was done with them.

And kids who claim that they are into "indie music" while blasting Imagine Dragons.

And I kind of understand with the kids. I don't think that they actually LIKE the music from EFY, but it reminds them of the week and since they generally had a good time, I assume that the enjoyment comes from being able to remember their friends and the activities and stuff. But that's just my theory.

Lex de Azevedo actually gave a fascinating devotional where he essentially talked about how stupid older Mormons were in the 70s for thinking that everything with an electric guitar was of the devil. It was pretty forward thinking for the time.

That's true, and some of Orson Scott Card's better books.

However, a love of Imagine Dragons seems to be an integral part of Mormon culture now (same with Neon Trees or The Killers [on an unrelated note, I'm sorry that

Everything looks better in hindsight. Maybe the old eras look better because only the good movies survived to make it into our cultural consciousness? You can't compare the worst movies of today with the best movies of yesterday. Also:

And when the Baby Boomers destroyed our environment and now that they are dying shot down every environmental protection bill, even though it is the people in their 20s and 30s like me and my friends who will have to live with the results of their recklessness. We could fix it, if the Baby Boomers would shut up and

"Get out of here with your cityfolk talk of a peace lovin' Jesus. Out here all I need is ma AR-15 and Bowie Knife."

In the book it explains that all crew members have two jobs in order to make sure all the positions are filled.

Love this album. No other Sigur Ros album has quite impacted me the same way that this has. "Vedrar vel til loftarasa" has brought me to tears more times than I would like to admit. Easily in my top five albums of all time, and my second favorite post-rock album of all time (with Godspeed You! Black Emperor's "Lift
