As dumb as this list is the thing that irked me most is that they chose to include Death Magnetic over St. Anger, an album for which my hatred knows no bounds.

Poe's Haunted should be on here. I've always thought that record deserved more attention.

I like to call it Pantera Bread, it gives me a mental image of Phil Anselmo gently blowing on a spoonful of hot soup that is quite amusing.

Maybe its time to retroactively kick a couple of them out of the Big Four and let Exodus and Testament in.

I think you just have to find the right store. There are several DQs in my area and I only know of one that still serves it. The same store also tends to make Blizzards that don't even remotely fit in the cup. They serve it with the ice cream towering about 3 inches over the rim. If it is a hot day, you're screwed,

I'll head on down to the lumber yard to see if I can find Yon. I've never heard Sconnie in a derogatory sense though. Best I can tell it's home grown and used affectionately. I'm on the western side of the state so I've probably been called a lot of those things, and football season is upon us so…maybe I'll just step

I haven't heard that one either. I generally just add 'upper' to my 'midwest'. Although I may be a bit out of touch, I'm still trying to figure out where the hell 'Sconnie' came from. I've lived in Wisconsin all my life (except for a 4 year stint in Indiana for college) and can't recall really hearing that one until

To be fair, mistakes like that should be expected when you name your festival something that sounds exactly like the town but tack on random extra letters. Also, I'm fine with it as long as people actually pronounce it correctly. I want to reach through the phone every time some customer service rep wants to validate

I'd have to go with Revolver as well (also my favorite Beatles album) but Blonde on Blonde isn't far behind (although it is not my favorite Dylan album, that would be The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan).

Tool's Aenima. I mostly listen to music on Spotify during my workday but had a hankering for Tool today so I had to dig out some physical media.

The Kirkwood brothers could teach them about functional familial relationships.

I always referred to that show as 'Goon' too. I'm not sure how design choices like that get all the way to production without anyone seeing that and speaking up.

As expected, Rick Rubin is thwarting all of my attempts to stump this thing.

3 degrees between Doris Day and Pig Destroyer, that's mildly amusing.

I forgot about The Falcon. They have an album out this year too which is decent if somewhat forgettable. Still better than this album, which I found not terrible but entirely unnecessary.

If you are curious what former members of Alkaline Trio are up to skip this and listen to Dan Andriano in the Emergency Room's 'Party Adjacent'.

AKA, 30 minutes before the review is actually posted on the page.

I used to fall asleep with Jar of Flies on. I tried it once with Sap, forgetting about that track. It didn't go well.
