I see Tom Waits and I judge you favorably.

After 6 seasons this probably shouldn't amuse me as much as it does but I still chuckle when Bob mutters "Oh my god". Every. Damn. Time.

The first thing I thought when I heard about this sequel was how screwed Renton is. I've never read Porno but I can't see a Renton/Begbie reunion going well.

That's a great Dylan tune but one that he could have chopped about 4 verses out of, much like 'A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall'

It's the champagne of beers, that shit's classy.

I think its a great festival for the area. It's eclectic and a really good alternative to the big mainstream festivals. I have a lot of respect for Justin Vernon's dedication to Eau Claire and his contributions to the massive transformations the city is undergoing right now. That being said, I didn't go to Eaux

A three hour radius from Eau Claire would actually include most of the state, except for the south (Milwaukee is out, Madison is in) and a much wider range of possible mentions, both natural - the Superior lakeshore, upper Mississippi river basin - and man-made — Lambeau!, Wisconsin Dells, Camp Randall.

Woohoo, Eau Claire! Considering its the A.V. Club I'm not surprised they went with the Eaux Claires festival but its still nice to get the nod over Summerfest in Milwaukee. For the record, bowling is not that big a deal here, at least no more than anywhere else. Hunting and fishing I'll give you, and apple orchards.

Random selections from a 'Songs that freak me the hell out' playlist I created one year for Halloween and now listen to on a regular basis for some reason.

Fun fact: the amount of data on the internet would increase by approximately 28% if they could find a way to digitize the musical knowledge contained in Matt Pinfield's brain.

I always liked the whole hidden track thing. It did get a little weird when trying to digitize CDs though. Breaking it up into tracks was always better than when they'd tack the hidden song on after 15 minutes of silence.

Mustaine looks like a metal Rowlf the dog in that header pic.
