Rancid is great at coming up with three guitar riffs, three topics for lyrics, and turning them into 22 songs. They're one of my favorite punk bands, but I refuse to listen to anything after Indestructible. That album was depressing as fuck. And The Transplants with their shampoo commercial soundtrack songs, and Lars

Yeah, I was going to mention this opinion people have of him that he's so intelligent, then he says a lot of nonsense and admits he didn't show up to class very often, let alone pay attention.

Does that include Jason Segal and Kevin Hart?

I'd find the "groom has no male friends" premise much easier to swallow if said groom didn't inevitably have a really hot fiancee. If you are so shy and awkward that it precludes you from having male friends, how is it you have a hot fiancee?

Hey, Wedding Singer rhymes with Wedding Ringer! Coincidence? Or Bilderberg conspiracy?

When Hemsworth gets out of prison, Viola Davis says to him "7 years in Folsom, in the hole for 3. Macneal before that. Macneal as tough as they say?"

Hacker once told me, "Do not write any program you are not willing to walk away from in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat coming around the corner."

Smith hasn't made anything praiseworthy since Chasing Amy. He's a terrible director, in the technical sense. And any comparison between him and Woody Allen is absurd. Smith thrives when given a microphone to do his little spoken word outings. As a screenwriter, he excels at creating an interesting premise, and then

Or "Linda Hamilton." Srsly, where do these whackjob parents come up with these crazy names? Some new age dream book or something?

I'm still having trouble with the name Sarah Snook.

I think a lot of it is really about money and the natural hyper-competitiveness between women. But the pay scale is determined by potential profits. Studios aren't going to throw a ton of money at Viola Davis since they already would have to market the shit out of movies she's liable to star in to have them turn a

That quote might as well say "The most common Best Actress-winning roles for women are female."

I'd understand it if Cameron Diaz complained she's not playing any "good" roles, but when Jessica Chastain, Cate Blanchett and Ellen Page make that complaint, I have to wonder what the shit they are talking about.

I've noticed when actresses say there are no good female roles, they don't say what sort of roles they want to play, and if they think audiences would want to see them play that role. Exactly what sorts of characters are they waiting to be sketched out for them?

Drawing parallels between Ferguson, MO, and other recent media-highlighted deaths of blacks, and the tension between blacks and the police/state in the South during the Civil Rights era and before is incredibly ignorant and disingenuous.

I saw Listen Up Philip. It doesn't belong on this list.

It's a decent premise for a spy movie, of which I am a sucker for. Probably not in Spy Game or The Good Shepherd territory here, but still OK.

This list is pretty non-essential itself.

Love reading F reviews, but fuck me with a turkey drumstick, I couldn't even finish reading the review because the whole idea of basing a movie or TV show or anything on a fucking meme is enraging in and of itself, I could not even justify to myself continuing to read the review, I had to just scroll down and type
