I had the Trollies Sing-a-Long movie when I was a kid and they covered Kokomo. Once you watch that you can't really associate it with anything else.

I loved the book and I actually really liked the TV series (at least the first season). I'd say if you do watch the show, it's best to remember that it's a pretty loose adaption and the depth of characterization really isn't there. It kind of goes for a "here's the problem of the week" approach.

I'm definitely on the little side and people have been telling me horror stories of 11 lb babies. Obviously we want the baby to be healthy and full-term, but I'm really, really okay with him not being 9+ lbs.

If you take an hour or two to classify everyone you don't want updates from to "acquaintances" instead of friends, it cuts back on that significantly. After that, it's just a question of unfollowing people when they show up uninvited to your news feed.

The Disney shorts compilation that is now available through Netflix has some really wonderful films in it. Feast, Paperman, and the Little Matchstick Girl were all lovely.
