She also said she wanted to be paid back for lunch.

Same. I could not figure out what her deal was. I didn't really buy her crushing on Sam, and was hoping the show wouldn't end up going that direction, but I didn't predict the twist at all. I like this better than her having a crush on him, that idea felt super creepy to me because of the age difference.

I assumed she was taking the money for her own fundraiser…

I love Carmen and Bash together but I would be even more delighted if they both turn out to be gay. Other commenters have mentioned picking up on hints about Bash, which I personally missed entirely, but I've been convinced Carmen is at least somewhat into ladies since that scene in episode 4 where she puts on lotion

What bothers me is that everyone's faces and bodies are hairless even after months of not bathing. Ok, CW, whatever.

I've seen some people theorizing that since she can see stuff that's just happened (the immediate past) she might have the ability to see father into the past and tell us about historical events. I'm not convinced, though.

I dunno, a lot of people are saying that Pearl must be either White or Pink Diamond's Pearl, but I'm not convinced that's necessarily true. Diamonds aren't the only gems who have Pearls. I don't see any strong evidence to suggest who Pearl served in the past. I've been dying to get more Pearl backstory for ages though.

Very late but I noticed your question never got answered. Pretty sure they meant Fox's character was meant to play off Jess (the "existing persona").

Sorry, they totally do. Although if it helps, it seems to be more of an abbreviation than a proper name and nobody makes the kind of stupid jokes you hear about "looking for Molly, have you seen her?"

The reason they had so few children wasn't because they were trying to limit the population, it was because of fertility issues. I feel like this was mentioned at some point in season 2 but can't remember when.

Personally I burst out laughing at "Polaris" because I could only think of the brand of pool vacuums.

I'm still wondering what is up with Monty's dad's death. Something seems really fishy there. And something about the way his mom has been acting seems suspicious.

Maybe Clarke can use the dead MM as reaper bait, cure them all and start an ex-reaper army.

It really struck me how fancy the lighthouse was in contrast to everywhere else we've seen on the show so far. Mount Weather was probably the nicest/most comfortable and even it was kind of beat up and utilitarian. Remember how amazed the 48 were by Mount Weather at first? Murphy just gone from shitty desert to a

Oh man, that's a LOT of cleaning up for one person though! Now I'm hoping for a whole episode of Clarke burying every single MM she killed and looking existential. On second thought though that would be some pretty heavy-handed symbolism and probably also kind of gross by the end… How long do you think that would

I think someone said the Arkers were genetically engineered to withstand radiation (which makes more sense than natural selection over such a short period of time with such a small group) but I can't remember where I heard that.

I think the explanation there was that the Arkers were genetically engineered to withstand radiation (because there's a ton of it on space) but don't quote me on that. Also doesn't explain why Grounder bone marrow wouldn't work or have at least been tried…

I hope you're right!

This made me laugh so hard my drink came out of my nose…

Jasper definitely only cares about Maya. Honestly he's kind of the worst. Didn't something like this happen?
