I think the Phoenix saga could work out.
Elevator pitch: Jean goes nuclear, so Xavier has to get Emma Frost to help him so they can fight her. She agrees, but wants to kill Jean, not stop her because she's seen the future where Scott and Jean's progeny fuck everything up for everyone.
Battle royale ensues, Jean and…
That's understandable. There is definitely zero science in the show. But that's pretty much par for the course. Aside from the Expanse, what show has ever convincingly portrayed actual science?
She's a great actress, and had had her share of great moments on the show. It just felt like they kept wrapping up her character arcs, then she'd have no compelling reason to be there, until the cycle repeated itself. Really shoddy writing, and a great example of how contracts can screw up stories behind the scenes.
Agreed, it seems to me like people have always just been looking for reasons to be angry at Moffat.
I like Moffat. There's this incredible amount of internet hate for him, which seems so unjustified to me. The most legitimate reason, which is always being discussed at The Mary Sue, is that he's not done enough to make the show diverse, but it seems like he's making progress on that as well.

I will never not laugh at the words "science" and "oven" together.
It is true that he exists, but other than that I would say any connections between Trump and truth are tenuous at best.
Maybe it was secretly in development by Hydra long before?
I dunno, it's not that big of a deal to me, but I think it would tie the universe together if they could make it work.
Isn't that up to him to decide?
The easiest fix for this would be to give Winter Soldier one of the in-eyeball cams that they use on the Agents of Shield show to control Deathlok. Although it would have been a bit more disturbing witnessing the killings in first-person POV.
And it would have made Agents of Shield seem a bit more important and…
