But aren't the teachers, starting with Robert Patrick, actually the ones running things and infecting the other faculty with their alien parasites? (I haven't seen this movie in a long time).

"You know who has hands? The Devil… and he uses them for holding!"

sorry if my engagement with that clown forced you into a tiresome discussion of discrimination with a bunch of racists. Didn't realize (until I saw your later post) what these guys were.
Thanks for that by the way since going through that site has given me no end of amusement for the past half hour.

Can you point to public universities that have speech codes. From what I've read the courts have shot down every attempt by a public university to institute speech codes.

That's a good point except that the courts have routinely struck down speech codes in public universities. And private universities, as non-governmental institutions, have no only limited first amendment obligations in this regard.

That's Hudson, sir. He's Hicks.

Being easy and being able to date a girl out of you league is a bit different.

If you don't like my fuckin' music get your own fuckin' cab!

Or it could be "You're way out of my league but I've got a shot with you because of your low opinion of yourself".

"Well, the issue with the latter is there's probably someone who holds those views that can make a similar argument."

Well, "Nah nah nah nah" person really doesn't deserve it. Like I said, intellectually it's easy to see that, but emotionally it sometimes feels different. The "but" position can be annoying. Though I find it's usually used when you oppose the act (say the attack on Charlie Hebdo) but also don't want to be seen wholeheartedly endorsing the victim (after the attack I went though some of their stuff which I found to be pretty disgustingly bigoted against Muslims).

It's not that we're disagreeing on something abstract. His views are 100% for the repressing of other people's rights to live their lives in ways that are absolutely none of his (or anyone else's) damned business.

I don't think that they "dislike" him is the main point. There's lots of people we don't like but still wouldn't really support an unwarranted/illegal invasion of their privacy.

Candy Apple Island? What do they got there?

Yes, I have. It generally runs into opposition due to the idea of forking taxpayer cash to team owners who essentially blackmail the communities. I'd find this a more salient point if it weren't for the fact that opposition to the idea is quite common among sports fans too. They aren't some monolithic group who

I guess if you consider the 3rd leading rusher in the league who averaged over 100 yards per game as evidence of decline.
Or if you think a team that was one of the worst rushing teams in the league last year might prioritize the position. Or that this same team, with one of the best defenses in the league last
