1:1 could be a tough standard to go for. In my youth I found that my kill to death ratio was often heavily influenced by the skill of my teammates (on CS) as well as which team happened to have the intitiative. I was usually above 1:1, below on occasion, and well above every once in a while.
How good your teammates

That's an interesting point, but I'd need to see some serious evidence that teams are perfectly okay with losing (as opposed to losing due to bad luck, scouting or out and out incompetence by upper management).
The Bills signed LeSean McCoy this year, which is a marked upgrade to CJ Spiller or Fred Jackson. Which

I see what you're saying. I'm not sure I'd agree "mark" is the best way to describe it though. They choose to place the ridiculous amount of importance on the sport that they do. I don't think they're being duped into it.
On the other hand, I've seen evidence to suggest that wrestling fans can be just as

Agreed, but I'm curious how fans of real sports are bigger marks than wrestling fans.

How so?

Hmmm, I felt that the brick, being the thing that I actually wished to avoid smashing out my brains, rather than the lemon slice which I don't fear, should get the priority mention. Nevertheless, I suppose I could have worded it in a more book appropriate way.

You beat me to it. I always thought having my brain smashed with a gold brick would be a bad thing. Whether it had a slice of lemon wrapped around it or not.

Saying they're corrupted by cash is to simplistic. Class is more accurate. And as much as I'd like to continue this I'm afraid I'm out of net time for today.

That's a nice excuse that takes the blame off them. "It's the consumers' fault not ours, we're just giving them what they demand."

I disagree strongly with this. During the anti-WTO protests in Seattle the media, as a whole, made a studious point of avoiding talking to anyone who might be able to articulate a point with some form of media savvy (such as professors, economists, philosophers and many other articulate people).

I guess it'd be armchair quarterbacking of people who can't be bothered to protest, or who actually oppose the positions of the protesters, telling protesters what they SHOULD be doing. (This is not an accusation aimed at you, just a comment on a general trend I've noticed). One that often comes from the very people

I could never get past the idea of a "zombie" hunting down specific people. I realize that they aren't truly zombies but it still annoys me. That said, the opening sequence is still fantastic.

That's a strawman. No one ever claimed Mickey Dolenz was a monkey. He was a Monkee. They're two different species.

Which was my point. They love the Gipper, but don't know shit about him (most were kids when he was in office). All they know is he single handedly won the cold war. It's easy to love the made up image.

Yes, obviously I was being literal when I said that.

That's a good question. The answer is that there are rightists who I agree with on some issues but disagree with strongly on others. I find a number of right wing libertarians to have positions I agree with regarding civil liberties and anti-imperialism. Though I disagree with their belief (and faith) in the free

The one where every liberal, when asked to name a Republican they admire, names Reagan. In other words no alternate one.

As a leftie I've never had much respect for Buckley. I think he's one of those guys whose reputation (amoungst those ideologically opposed to him) is wildly over-inflated. It's like he's a go to guy when you have to say you respect some right winger… like liberals and their love affair with Ronald Reagan.
They love

Nothing is worse than Shades of Gray. It's not just the worst TNG episode, it's the worst Trek episode.

I can't agree with this. The Wild West Worf episode was bad, very bad even. But the Crusher fucking a ghost episode was like Shades of Gray bad (the second season clip episode), not as bad… Shades of Gray was the worst Trek episode of any of the series… but in that territory.
