Never underestimate the power of eugenics and steroids. Or computers that can literally be programmed to display any number the programmer wants. Those damned, dirty Russkies!

If you didn't like "Battle: Los Angeles" you should try it's no budget clone "Battle OF Los Angeles". It's shittiness is what makes it great… unlike Battle: Los Angeles' shittiness which makes it stupid.
It helped that her character's defining trait seemed to be emotional detachment. You know, cause economics is all about rationalism divorced from emotion. Therefore, it stands to reason that she would, being a economics genius, not be able to express emotions. Cause emotions get in the way of the stern rationality…
Really? I thought they were called Fukingobnoxians.
hmmm, I can't decide if this is a complement for Lillard or a slam on Scooby Doo. I guess it can be two things.
Tucker and Dale vs Evil, which I saw just the other night, was delightful. Though I disagree about Cabin, which is a movie I also enjoyed.
Moonrise Kingdom seems to be one of his most divisive. My friend and I are both Anderson fans but I enjoyed Moonrise Kingdom and he considered it inferior as well.
Start with the easy things. Then move on to the harder.
This news makes me sad on many levels. Not the least of which is the reminder of the existence of ID4.
It's not Bill Pullman, it's ably played by Bill Paxton!
Denzel Washington was not blind the whole time in Book of Eli. I will never accept it! He went blind as he was dying from his stomach wound!
Don't make assumptions. He's building to something. I'm fascinated by what thing something has that should remain unopened. Is it a box? A door? A window? Tell me!
As the viewer, I do however feel I have every right to disregard Scott's statement on Deckard's replicant status. I just prefer the idea that Deckard is human.
Some of the answers above strike me as really short sighted. I'd imagine if you visited some of them in a hundred or a thousand years they'd beg you to find I way to put them out of their misery…. Yes I'm looking at you Cameron Scheetz.
Sure you can. It's called a pirate ship. I'm not taking down other ships without a ship full of badass rebels. I think I'd fail if I tried for the whole shipload of wimpy conformists. Or even some mix.
It strikes me that I really shouldn't have to.
Nice comeback, very thought provoking. You are going to tell me that it is your belief that Walter Cronkite treated claims made by the USSR with the same amount of scrutiny as claims made by US government officials. Maybe in the fevered imaginings of right wing "liberal media take their marching orders from Commies"…
Nausicaa and the Valley of the Winds was my first Studio Ghibli movie (or "Warriors of the Wind" as it was called in my childhood in NA). It's still one of my favorite animes if only for that reason.
That destroys entire solar systems with a drop…. but just to be sure they give Spock enough to wipe out 10,000 solar systems in his one man poorly armed glorified shuttle craft and send him out into the cosmos…. what could go wrong?
I must have missed that.
