Oh for sure. He has opened the floodgates for awful people. But, the option to forever mock him for losing is a nice consolation prize.

It turns out we've been given a gift, in that we can laugh about Trump losing forever.
I assumed we would be watching a small fry villain becoming dangerous as he makes increasingly stupid mistakes in an effort to maintain his reputation. I would have been fine with that. This show didn't need a bigger bad.
To me, Cottonmouth was just getting interesting when they decided to bump him off. Diamondback is really quite awful. Shades is all I have to hang on to now.
Diamondback seems like a cartoon character who wandered into the show. I swear it feels like a completely different creative team assembled the remaining episodes.
I've got 3 episodes to go and I'm not particularly motivated to finish.
"Hopefully DC can figure this all out" is a thing we all say quite often.
I think he's fine, but burdened with delivering a lot of very hackneyed, clunky dialogue. He doesn't always succeed but I'm not sure if you can hold it against him.
I like him. And, to his credit, whenever he removed his shades it had the desired effect. Took me awhile to notice he does it like twice per episode.
It's likely also frustrating trying to decide on the perfect moment to dramatically remove the sunglasses. "Should I do it now? Now? Damn, I should have waited."
I don't think they have enough story to fill 13 episodes. I'd apply the same criticism to all of the Marvel/Netflix shows so far. Give me a tighter 8-ish episode season.
I haven't made up my mind about this show, but the music is balls out amazing.
Pivotal or not, if the character sucks, just don't put them in the movie. Blowing the guy's head off is ridiculous, yet perfectly in line with Snyder's approach to these characters.
Yep! I was pretty much on board until shortly after that scene. I think that's around the time the movie fell apart.
Oh, I totally understand that reintroducing Superman would have been pretty fucking difficult. And if people dig it, that's cool! Let us agree to disagree.
Well, I think it does speak to why a lot of people took issue with it. If any character is a gateway for kids into superheroes, it's Superman. In my opinion, you should never fuck with what makes Superman special to kids. He's amazing and he WILL help you when you are in trouble. And, you can absolutely retain all…
Well, it mattered to me because my kid was horrified. I've learned my lesson about taking kids to DC movies, but goddamn that was awkward.
I'm ok with accepting that this interpretation of the character is not for me. I don't have a problem with people who like it. That's fine. It's definitely not what I wanted, but whatever. When compared to the rest of the DCU so far, it's a solid flick. It's been a downhill slide ever since in my opinion. BVS and…
Hope so!
People love to point out that killing Zod was his only choice, but that is simply because it was written that way. They wanted him to kill Zod, so they painted him into that corner. He could have taken Zod on a disney cruise if they had written it that way. This is a fictional character, written by screenwriters.
