Yep. Crossing my fingers it can be mostly taken as a standalone flick. I'm sure there will be table setting for other movies, but please let it be minimal.

I think it's a swing and a miss on a decent Superman movie. It had lots of great stuff going for it. If this wasn't a Superman movie I'd probably give it a pass. Because it IS a Superman movie, I feel like it missed out on what makes Superman special, and it's just a big whiff overall. Worst movie ever? No. Bad…
I feel like they can tank this entire franchise, but please don't fuck this one up. Please let this one be good.
I don't speak for the whole internet, but I'd say Man of Steel is about half of a decent movie. They got about halfway there and sent it way off the rails. I made the mistake of taking my kid to Man of Steel, and had to apologize to her after it was over.
This planet is a trash heap.
I hear that the movie gets really good by your 30th screening. Hang in there, Kevin Smith!
All you need to do is staple a clown wig to a Reagan mask. Or a wilted pumpkin.
I love the idea of batman having secret high heels. I love it so much it is how I will see the character from now on.
I miss 90 minute movies in general. Perfect popcorn length. I dunno why these things need to be 3 hour epics.
"Look! It's Slipknot, the man who can climb anything!"
I think Eisenberg figured out early that he was in a disaster and decided to have a good time with it. I hated his performance, but I respect him for farting around with shitty material.
Dead Grandpa? I'd probably pay money to see him do a Bernie Lomax routine.
Mouse Hunt is a goddamn masterpiece.
The term "GIF artist" bums me out in ways I can't quite articulate.
That's probably true. I'm still stuck on episode 2 of this one because my wife wants to watch it and won't let me binge. Haven't really seen what Luke can do yet.
My opinion of Daredevil would probably be higher if it wasn't for the other shows. They seem like a huge leap in quality to me. Daredevil seems more in line with what I would have assumed a marvel TV show would be like whereas the other two exceeded my expectations.
I've noticed some clunky exposition here and there and a few weird cuts, but overall I think they are nailing it. I think between this and Jessica Jones, Daredevil is looking like pretty weak-sauce.
It was the first time I experienced an entire theatre exiting in complete silence when it finally ended.
Paul Blart: Fart Fart
This just made me spit coffee onto my monitor.
