The Dark Willow storyline is a gigantic missed opportunity, because it was centered on (1) addiction is bad and (2) grief is painful and rage inducing — but not in ways that were specific and connected to Willow's characterization. They were story beats assigned to the character powerful enough to carry them out, but

Because he never killed anyone we liked…

Oliver Queen is a dad.

He was called a "show killer" for Happy Days… It's a very old joke.

Evie's Dad doesn't look like Peter Gallagher. He looks like famed showkiller, Ted McGinley.

Tackling without gear, for normal people, would be just fine. NFL players wear the gear because they are very large and move incredibly fast. The likelihood of injury would usually be pretty low.

In their defense, it's so hard to find Canadian actors these days…

The think to keep in mind about the Pentagon is that it is incredibly crowded, busy and filled with Civillians. If you are in a hallway - especially the main corridors - there are tons of people passing through all the time - not stopping to salute each other all the time.

Yes, I am Coach Kroozywooski!

The problem was that it wasn't mainstream enough for Network TV, in an era where people didn't just expect to go to Comedy Central for shows like this - as they do know.

Some Girls is 1978, so 37 years.

Or, they could just give her another show…

I guess we've confirmed that this is a world where the 1980s never happened. Leary's "Tattoos aren't cool riff" only works in a world where Guns 'n' Roses never existed. Because by the time GNR were big, rock bands got tattoos.

Their best songs are on their first album, which never gets much airplay. Then everybody noticed that Susannah Hoffs was pretty, and they had hits with cover songs that didn't really reflect their stage show. (Except for the "Hazy Shade of Winter" cover.)
