I'm really enjoying the current season of PD. In fact I think this is the best one so far.
I was a tiny bit disappointed though with the Dracula/Dr Sweet reveal at the end. I was hoping that Dr Sweet would actually be Dr Moreau - the notorious human/animal hybrid scientist. The whole Dracula reveal was just a bit too

[furious applause]

Stop being so reasonable :P

Bleached asshole - now that made me laugh

Loved this episode as all the previous build up and foreshadowing is starting to pay off

The Naked & The Dredd

A 12 part Judge Dredd tv series would be the best as it would allow for a much wider scope of plot & character development plus give us close to 12 hours of awesomeness

[diverts topic completely plus invokes Godwins Law]

I had a few laughs so I'll give this one a look

I suppose I was fortunate in that I saw Lynch's film version before I read the book. Quite honestly I liked the film. I know that will arc up some people but just because I happen to like something that they don't doesn't mean they have to get all pissy about it. I know Dune has never been properly realised. The TV

So once again it appears that WB & the movie DC universe have managed to make a hash of what should have been an easy home run.
I haven't seen the film yet and I do trust that the reviews here are honest & in line with how I feel about films in general. Thus I'm now reluctant to go see this on the big screen because

Moderately interesting

Its the laugh track that really kills this. I've always hated canned laughter that is supposed to encourage you to laugh along. Its a tired old cliche that needs to just die

we have breaking news on Donald Trump:

I'm waiting for the moment when all the lower colons of all right wing bat shyte insane conservatives rise up to choke off the massive influx of faeces to the brain that they all appear to be suffering from.

Agreed. SoS was indeed a blatant LoTR rip off and quite honestly I'm surprised that Terry Brooks was never sued for that as the parallels as so blindingly obvious. Where as Elfstones was a very original work and quite a good story as well.

Its not a bad adaptation of what I considered the best of the Shannara series. I found The Sword of Shannara far too similar to LoTR where as The Elfstones was a good original work that I would recommend as a good fantasy novel. I understand that adaptations from page to screen rarely work and often deviate from the

From what I recall there was a part in the 1st book where they travelled through the wreckage of an ancient city and where attacked by some sort of hybrid machine/monster thing. From that point on there were hardly any other references to the world before.

Loved it, brilliant concept and well delivered
