The way in which the game is constructed makes it very difficult to be completely neutral. Most quests give the best rewards if you are good which means you then have to go around murdering innocent people to bring your karma back to neutral. I always went for the Vault theme. You got loads of food out of it which was always useful. Especially if you installed the mod which emulated Hardcore mode from FN:NV which meant you had to eat and drink.

I didn't mind Big Iron, my nemesis on RNV was Johnny Guitar. I'd turn off the radio when that came on. But yeah, thank the modders for creating those extra radio playlists. That made the game sooooo much better. There is a limit to how many times you can listen to the same playlist before you get so sick of it.

They didn't rebuild it. It turns out that Lucas Simms was killed by Mr Burke in the shoot out in the bar. Lucas' son then became the sheriff. The Lone Wanderer disarms the bomb and Megaton eventually flourishes as a trading hub.

It was never at all made clear when the Super Mutants from Vault 87 actually start appearing in the DC wasteland but it had to have been not longer after the Brotherhood show up and take over whats left of the Pentagon.

It can be done but its a bit of a cheat. The real point was that you had to let go of the gold. That was the lesson of the Sierra Madre. At best I managed to get out with 7 bars without leaving anything else really vital [weapons, armour etc] behind. That was plenty enough.

Actually that's what I liked about that DLC, its moral ambiguity. No matter which choice you made, someone suffered.
