Just off the top of my head, let's count the things that would never make it into a current movie, especially a PG movie:

Taking a picture of your food: fine, whatever.

It's not even a movie. It's just vignettes of young actors doing disgusting things. The executives who thought Korine and his script were "genius" are morons.

"Dare" is such an awesome song.

Bill Hicks: Angry, insightful, sweaty, great raconteur, fascinating guy. But was he funny?

Good lord. Do people really watch a cartoonish comedy and dissect it to these ridiculous levels?

Great choices. For me, the role model is Burt Reynolds' portrayal of "The Bandit." Confident, cool, clever and never flustered.

I'm guessing the football team will go 0-100.

Slim, and good at acting?

Scott Pelley is great at confronting liars and con men.

Plus, they can't even get started until she takes about seven years of acting lessons.

I could be interested if McCarthy is playing the Stay Puft man.

I think the Beasties just wanted to distance themselves from their immaturity and invented that story.

"All right! I've been waiting nine years to get my frisbee back."
*frisbee sails over gate*
"Awwwwww."

He wrote "King of the Night Time World," which is my favorite KISS song.

I like that in the movie, "This is the End," they made the bitter, mopey, no-fun character hate Forrest Gump.

"Secrets" is a pretty good tune, and I agree that Diver Down is mostly a dud.

He "really developed his calf muscles" despite quitting the rickshaw job after two days?

I have a fondness for Dave music because it reminds me of being 15-21. It reminds me of some really fun parties, concerts, and most importantly - first hookups. It really was the go-to CD to put in that the guys and girls could agree on.

Well, as a teenager I loved stuff like Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, and other hard-rocking, high-testosterone kind of stuff.
