Agreed. I'm extremely disappointed, I loved this book as a kid. I must've read it, cover-to-cover 20 times (along with the Prydain Chronicles - hopefully Peter Jackson and Hollywood in general stays away from those..). It was a much more staid, slow-burn of a story than what this looks like.
