yeah, casting a few more POC would help with the problem identifying the numerous similar-looking young white men in the movie, but ANY movie, by definition isn't a documentary, and this one particularly made a point of NOT being an exhaustive history of the event - its a quite abstract version taken from three points

honestly, I only know the songs (and song clips) from the show but I think she's brilliant. Sexy Getting Ready Song is a 5-star iTunes rating for me.

he's not a wonderful thing, bay-bee.

which is a bit odd - Trip to Spain is the weakest of the three but its still good fun. Didn't really deserve this response…

Did Marc Webb work on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend?

he's been a bullshitter all his life, why stop now…

Cross? Thats the Vulcan symbol for Logic. C'mon man, don't be racist.

I thought Jaimie was a god before I read "The Love Bunglers" and then…

yeah, that's ridiculous - the woman second on the left is obviously Vulcan.

good point. Don't know if he attended the shiva. He's a terrible person but he seemed to know that Nimoy was a better man than he was, so lets hope he did the right thing.

very impressive, McConaughey. That showed real poise and class. You're a good one.

I really dislike Shat, and have for years, but his reason for missing Nimoys funeral seemed legit. It seems quite common for people to miss Jewish funerals because the couldn't get across country on short notice.

yup, that too I think. Also, down thread, there's an argument that he was rushed to finish it and didn't want it released. Perhaps all of the above?

yeah, it's really nasty. Has it been resolved yet? (I always thought Kimball looked like he could barely stand to be near the other hosts. Which is bs - they where excellent and he was an ass. His rambling editorials in the magazine where painful.)

wow - Kimball's off the cover of America’s Test Kitchen already. That was fast…
But I love Cook's Illustrated. A food writer friend once said that, even if you eventually don't love the recipe, one of their recipes will always work, first time. And that's huge, considering how many popular chefs recipes really don't

very nicely done.

dudes been coasting on that "Video killed the radio star" good-will for a long time…

honestly, I loved it. The weak points where the soundtrack (monotonous) and the timeline (confusing) but the performances, the cinematography… all amazing. I loved that it avoided so many war movie cliches: no dastardly Nazis; no generals pointing at maps; minimal info dump; no sentimental backstory for the main

i think it was a record company contract issue. He was with one label, the movie company had their own label, they couldn't agree on money…

"loud, disorienting, and exhausting" is a good description of the actual event, so perhaps that's what Nolan was going for.
