but it's not just a style thing - the straight quotes aren't quote marks, they're inch marks.
Case closed.
And not, "closed".
is that where Carrie tells him he doesn't know her friends? His reply could be my favourite line in the show:
"Charlotte is the brunette, Miranda is the redhead, and Samantha is… trouble…"
and her exclamation when Carrie falls on the catwalk…
ah, Blair Brown…
I assume you stopped watching your fifth pick just before the giant robot appeared.
yeah, I know the show was all about the girls, but that Chris Noth knew how to wear a suit.
no no no - none of them would have been friends with Carrie. By the last season, she's an awful person and terrible friend.

Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ruth Negga are plotting something.
oh my god… how did I never notice that before!
even by sitcom standards, "Will Truman" was a bit on the nose, wasn't it…

hm. Yeah, I think there was something on British tv a few years ago, but haven't seen it. Try the Dereck Jacobi movie, if you haven't seen it, it's very good.
have you seen the Dereck Jacobi movie "Breaking the Code"? From the mid-90's - haven't sen it since then, but I liked it a lot at the time. I think it was more accurate (at least he wasn't black-mailed by a soviet spy…)
not sure the people in the reservations - in southern-friggin-Ontario - without running water - in 20-friggin-16 - would feel good about white peoples' apologies….
yeah, that's funny, but sadly… thats about all that's happened. It's still in the "someone should do something about that, it's a real shame" pile.
