It’s been 27 years since Homer sat in a chair waiting til he could buy a gun while hilariously obvious targets paraded around in front of him to the tune of a great Tom Petty song? Oh no wait that was season 9. 26 years.

I mean the gay steel mill is still a way better joke, I just like The Waiting more than C&C Music…

I always loved when Homer started hanging out with a couple of hippies and he shares some music “from his personal stash that’ll really blow some minds” and then it’s Uptown Girl

I’m sure a lot of it is due to nostalgia but is there any other show that touches that streak of episodes from season 3 to 9 or so?

Also the 27th anniversary of me saying “Hot stuff coming through” every time I have to get around anyone. A timeless joke never gets old, right?

That whole episode is good, but I would argue that the best Simpsons needle drop was Homer’s walk-in music when he fought Drederick Tatum - War’s “Why Can’t We Be Friends?”

I still say “Hot stuff, comin’ through!” And “Zzzzzap!” From time to time.

As someone whose dad’s name is Bruce, that episode has made me laugh for almost 30 years. 

I don’t know what changes they made after season 1, but they are welcome. This show is much better this season so far.

I work with produce every day and I know that potatos are still cheap so McDonalds is gouging people for fries. $3.79 for a large fry? $11 for a Big Mac, large fries and a Coke? No more.

Yeah I’m thinking it’s the franchisee setting those crazy prices.

those people are fucking weird.  It just is fucking weird full stop. The next time one of them is actually living hand to mouth will be the first time.  That said I love Kacey Musgraves and always look forward to new stuff from her.
