I think I’ve read that as the voting population in America increases, the Republican share of the vote invariably shrinks. Hard-line conservatives basically have no choice but to discourage registration - it leads to them losing elections.

It’s always worth reminding people that when they say “ballot harvesting” they mean “voting.”  They just plain hate the idea that people get to vote.

Remember in the ‘before times’, when every popular artists and celebrities under the sun simply encouraged ppl to just vote? It was called “Rock the Vote”, and MTV did it for every election year for like 15 yrs.
