Those types are just looking for an excuse to not vote. They’d rather be ideological pure or whatever else than hold their nose, vote, and make incremental albeit slow progress. If a candidate doesn’t meet every one of their hopes and dreams or they don’t love or are motivated by him/her, they won’t vote. They just

I love how Denzel is just playing peak Denzel in this and looks like he’s having the most fun possible.

It’s a Disney+ problem. The SW shows have the same issues the MCU does. Everything feels like its a movie that they had to stretch out to hit a specific episode count. It doesn’t seem like hardly anyone there understands how to properly pace and craft a TV show

Guessing its still gonna be likely they merge and/or partner P+ with some other service.

Abby Elliott given a chance to flex her acting chops and she crushed it.

Those poor dragons. All that crying and shrieking as they’re forced to fight, terrible. Dragons should be free and loved.

They just need to actually show up to vote. This guy is (rightly) ranting about Texas, but there’s other places that could swing if Dems (and Indys) would actually vote consistently in all elections.

Oh no! Not pretty dull TV. That’ll be devastating because as we all know, the most important issue here is ratings and excitement.

Polling has been such a mess since 2020 I find it difficult to put much, if any, faith into any of it. For the longest time, conventional wisdom was polls would undercount GOP strength. But that’s flipped since 2020, especially during the 22 midterms. Now there may be a Dem undercount. But its so messy when you get

Ok, I figured it out for desktops at least. You gotta play around with your tracking protections. If you have them set on anything above “normal” (custom or strict), the comments won’t load. Can’t make mobile work though, oh well

Makes sense. I knew they had a S4 on the way and when I finished S3, I thought they really could have condensed a few episodes here to make it one season.

Ok, that makes sense. I’ve never had any OpenWeb stuff work for me on mobile. Appears it doesn’t work on Firefox (desktop) either

How do you view them? It let’s me click on “comments” at the top of their articles but nothing ever loads, both desktop and mobile.

Reading about this made me realize I had completely forgotten about Wakanda Forever. They would have been better off hitting pause for a bit, give time to grieve, and then recast T’Challa. WF ended up being a nice memorial for Chadwick Boseman, but as a MCU flick, it barely made a ripple.

Cena is a bit too distracting. All the big castings from Fishes worked because most everyone is a great actor. Even John Mulaney, who at times did sound like he was going into a John Mulaney routine, was able to blend in. But Cena’s presence is just so large its hard to overlook. I think he’s become an entertaining

I’ve done this before and did it just the way you said and its glorious. Co-worker was doing the typical Fox News SF crime rant. I said “Yeah, they should be more like Texas”. Guy said “Yeah, wouldn’t put up with that. Texas would shoot them”. And then I hit them with “Actually, Texas lets you steal up to 2000 bucks

I hear ya but then I see stuff like the below tweet and what you’re saying is such a damn long shot. This guy is basically pulling his hair out to get people in Texas to actually vote, which could easily flip blue if they actually would. Texas ain’t the only one either. But for whatever reason, no one bothers to vote.

I disagree with this show being categorized as a comedy when it comes to awards season. That said, Neil’s service is the most I’ve laughed at a show in a long time.

Aegon may be a shit king, but he does seem like he’d be pretty fun to party with. I’ll give him that

Where was he? Buried under endless talking points that his debate team foolishly thrust on him. His prep team failed him massively. They turned him into a policy wonk, literally having him rattling of 3, 4 or 5 bullet points on any given topic which is flat out stupid. Debates are performance, most of the audience
