I found it funny but it took a REALLY long time to get there. I get that the slow set up helps the ending land, but I think they still could have accomplished it in half the time. It took so long I was going “this is the worst thing I’ve seen them do in a long time” before the joke finally hit

I’ve never watched Fire Country but when it first premiered, they use to run an ad where all the firemen were walking away from a forest blaze they put out and for some inexplicable reason, a tree just exploded like you dropped a bunker bomb. I’d laugh my ass off every time. Just a ridiculous show.

I thought it wound up being a satisfying ending. As much as I may have wanted a more somber or emotionally gutting ending, the show from the start was always about the bond between the brothers and their new sister. It stayed true to that until the very end. Fun series overall too. Maybe a little too adventure-y…

Best episode of the season. Both challenges were pretty good and the chefs finally stepped up with some creative and tasty looking dishes worthy of being on Top Chef.

Yeah, he was killed off on the episode this past Sunday. Why they are waiting until now to start having media sites write about it, I have no idea. FWIW, the episode itself is fairly decent. 

Matheson was definitely just rambling nonsense. He sounded more like a dumb person trying to sound profound than actually relaying any kind of point.

I think overall, this season has been pretty weak on talent. I concur on Pirates of the Dark Water. Loved that show as a kid and as others have stated, since it never finished, its a perfect candidate for a reboot.
