I watched some of Sean Spicer's press briefing yesterday and there was a point early on where he said they wanted to focus on bringing jobs back to America and then immediately started talking about the federal hiring freeze. Oh yeah, that's totally going to help Americans find jobs, I guess?

Yeah, if this was a movie I'd be like "OK, gutting the ethics office, that's a little on the nose" but it's real life.

I'm not great with scary movies / games but I love Ruth Wilson so I'll probably watch this.

I'm still patiently waiting for them to get Yellow Diamond to do a song…

I'm sitting here praying they get Laura Benanti to guest on CXG.

I don't think it's 100% happy or even necessarily a perfect ending - there are ramifications. But it's definitely a change of pace, beautiful in a bittersweet way. That's what I'm happy about, not some happy ending.

I like IPAs a lot, but I can't imagine going to a bar and seeing a tap list full of porters and stouts (which I can't acquire the taste for at all), so I totally get it.

I love a good session IPA - as much as I like beer (which I do) I don't really care about getting drunk, so being able to have two beers without feeling gross is lovely.

Deschutes and Lagunitas are good, but if you like craft beer I encourage you to look at local beer! I want to recommend a ton of beer but I know it can't be purchased outside of my state. Deschutes Fresh Squeezed is really tasty, though, and a total recommend.

I didn't notice this until it was pointed out to me, but there's a point early on where Yorkie is out in the rain and kind of puttering around. It feels a lot more poignant when you realize that this is Yorkie being outside and feeling rain for the first time in a very long time.

So much of Black Mirror focuses on the failings of humans, and is a pretty cynical view of humanity, featuring people being selfish and doing horrible things. Greg, from what we saw of him, seemed like he was doing good things because he was a good person, that he wanted to help and had no ulterior motive for doing

I was but then decided I didn't need to explain to my coworkers that the reason I'm crying at my desk is because I'm listening to Heaven is a Place on Earth.

This was one of the most beautiful episodes of television I think I've ever seen. While I enjoy Black Mirror for all its cynicism, woe, and "what if phones, but too much"-ness I'm so happy that something this utterly lovely came from Black Mirror.

Yeah, I haven't flown internationally in a few years and none of my domestic flights have had any food, but I don't remember my food when I went to Italy and the food when I went to London being bad, they were just not very memorable.

Every single flight I've been on since airlines have gotten rid of a free checked bag has had a major lack of overhead space and they end up needing to check people's bags anyway. Then it's like pulling teeth when they need to check people's bags. If you actually let people check their bags for free you wouldn't have

I feel like every episode my favorite shifts to who the current focus is. I've thought "oh, they're my favorite gem" about Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, and Peridot. Right now I THINK it's Peridot but all the characters on this show are so lovable.

Same - I sometimes try to pretend my first concert was The White Stripes at 14 vs *NSYNC when I was 10.

Yeah, I first started going to concerts with my dad when I was about 14, too - going to rock shows at club venues. Steven's fine!

I think part of it stems from Travis' sole job being podcasting, whereas Justin and Griffin's day jobs are with Polygon. So when Justin and Griffin do other podcasting projects (Sawbones, Cool Games Inc., Rose Buddies) there's less pressure there, whereas Travis kind of has to make podcasting work.

Not gonna lie, I would probably be mad about that if I was dating someone and I wasn't the person they chose to go with to Hamilton.
