So far we have Sid from Toy Story and the bear and Big Baby from Toy Story 3. Now all we need is for someone to nominate Big Al from Toy Story 2.

Paul Walker? Scott Walker?

It is. And you can watch scenes with the pre-dub audio on YouTube- someone else already posted the link.

"Community Grade" - that is, readers' votes.

No, they rate it a "C+". You're looking at the wrong rating.

As in "yesterday", you mean?

They can make it better - if they go back and make a closer adaptation of the original books. Not that I hate the movie - it's pretty good - but they don't need to make that same movie again with new actors. That said, what they're going to do is make the same movie with new actors and CGI.

Weren't they smoking pot during their set break? Other than that, I can't see anything even resembling a racial stereotype. They look like a standard-issue band from the 1950s, like the Pretenders, for example.

San Francisco isn't in the Pacific Northwest.

Thank you for linking that.

Uh-huh.

Wasn't their talk of bringing in Eddie Murphy for a sequel called Triplets? Or did that fizzle out already?

I don't know what I am more afraid of - 1, he's actually a serious, viable, candidate, or (2) - he's running to serve as a sideshow or a warm-up act for a candidate (Bush/ Cruz/ Walker/ Perry) who will look relatively sensible and have more of a chance at winning.

Just ask Liza Minelli!

Those threads you mention were usually on the news roundups, or the "cable movie of the day" post, not the features. There was loads of on-topic discussion about the features.

I haven't watched the video for "That's the Way It Is" since it first came out, and I can't help but wonder why she (or her stylist) couldn't be bothered to comb her hair.

Which is something the article left out - if you're really interested in talking up Celine Dion, then you really need to delve into her French-language albums. Her longstanding collaborations with a great songwriter, Jean-Jacques Goldman, produced terrific results.
