The Rocketeer and Hulk don't count?

The Once and Future King seemed a pretty lighter take on Arthurian legend, IMO. A lot of the humor in the Disney cartoon was taken from the book.

It's probably the free kids' rentals as loss leaders.

What about Lauren Bacall?

You might be surprised. Do a search for "your town + family video" and see if you have one left standing.

Or Solsbury Hill, even.

Someone on the original AV Club thread mentioned prosciutto, and I think that might be a better match for this sandwich. (Everyday ham could probably go well with it, too.)

What's so dumb about it? I would probably eat that sandwich (minus the truffle oil, though, because I'm not going to shell out $$$ for that shit).

It would be interesting if it were a Psycho-style trailer.

Did they really use Lois Lane as an example? She "dies" and is resurrected a few minutes later.

Casting adults as the leads was enough of a warning sign for me. I didn't even need to see the trailer.

Let the record show that Curmugahideen is holding up two fingers.

Do you mean "Death Wish"? Or is "Death Sentence" a movie that I haven't heard of?

Especially since her replacement was a lot less interesting.

The second mix seems to be Motown (Marvin Gaye and Jackson 5), or maybe R&B in general, so if that's what the sequel is going to give us, then Hotel California wouldn't fit.

I don't want a pickle.
I just want to ride my motorcycle.

Same here. (Just saw a poster for "The Giver" in the theater the other day. Wish I hadn't been reminded of that one.)

And now we've come full circle, with bargain-bin double-sided DVDs (two movies, e.g. Superman and Superman II, on different sides of a disc.)

Isn't it "revved up" (not "wrapped up") like a deuce?

Not the same thing. This is an adaptation of a stage musical.
