Jesus..and I have a pre-existing heart condition. Maybe I should be seeking help too..

Vice has standards?

Everything's coming up Milhouse!

The most tight.

Different reviews can have varying levels of baggage attached to them though. When the critic decides to preface a review by waxing nostalgic about their personal experience with the artist(s), especially when the critic has a strong, emotional attachment, then the piece becomes more of a subjective opinion piece

I have no problem with a lengthy, contextual introduction to a review where the critic lays out his or her personal connection to a piece of art. Basically it's just a cue for the reader to understand that what is about to come is far from an unbiased critique, and should be taken with vast amounts of salt. You know,

I've read less than half of you half as much as I'd have liked, and I liked less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

He looks like a certain Laura Palmer murder suspect. Without the Hawaiian flair.

Call me crazy, but the man to the centre character's left sure looks like Bill Williamson to me. Is that a younger John in the centre? Dutch to his right? It's really hard to say but I definitely hope this game takes place prior to 1911 either way.

I love this "band."

I remember watching the original at a very young age with my grandfather (who passed his love of horror movies onto me) in the basement with all of the lights off. I was expecting a snakeoid/grabvoid/whatever to burst through the basement wall at any moment. Scared me as a kid anyway.

She DID however get one of her other brothers killed because the plot dictated that she couldn't tell Jon about the Vale army coming to their aid. That's some Emmy award winning writing right there.

Didn't you see Arya get stabbed fifteen times and then survive a long swim in the surely disgusting Braavosi river without bleeding out? She won't be dying in the show any time soon. The plot armour is strong with this one.

I hope next season we get less "Boss-Ass Bitch" and more characters whose motivations and character arcs actually make sense.

I still prefer the Old Dutch ketchup chips to the Lays ones, personally. I'd recommend trying them out first if you can get your hands on a bag.

'The Stars are Projectors' is the standout for me.

I love how they can jam the same three or four chords seemingly forever without allowing things to ever get boring.

I remember working a long, thirteen hour day once and calling into my local college campus radio station to request 'Teeth Like God's Shoeshine.' I really wanted an Orange Julius after that.

As much as I've enjoyed the additional band members, my favourite Modest Mouse album is still 'The Lonesome Crowded West.' This song isn't on it, but 'Long Drive' is still pretty damn good too.

I'm still holding out hope that the NX won't be the piece of shit that it almost certainly will end up being.
