What, no Ziggy Stardust love?
What, no Ziggy Stardust love?
I'll never forgive NBC for the way they treated that show. While I wouldn't call it horrible at the end, when compared to its first two seasons, well, there really is no comparison.
'Homicide: Life on the Street' was the first time I'd ever seen Jon Polito. He was pitch-perfect as Detective Crosetti, and the best years of the show happened to coincide with his tenure on it. As I got older and dove head first into watching movies, I began seeing him pop up in Coen brothers films and many others.…
So he isn't singing about sweaty, Georgian vaginas. I suppose I can see a dance getting warm too.
What exactly is a "boochie coochie" and why is it so hot?
I'd take any song off of 'Wish You Were Here' before the title track any day. Unless we're talking about campfire singalongs. My campfire, acoustic versions of 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond' and 'Welcome to the Machine' aren't exactly fan favourites.
Billing oneself as an "American Badass" can allow the artist so many genre possibilities.
The "classic rock" radio station in my city likes to play that from time to time. I'd actually rather hear 'Sweet Home Alabama', if you can believe it.
My friend got so pissed when that song came up during the speed round at Name That Tune at the pub. Not that anyone at said pub would have known who Dick Dale was anyway I guess.
'Carry On My Wayward Son' has got to be one of the worst songs ever. How many pointless, short, guitar solo breaks does one song need?
If they would have knocked that first trailer out of the park would we still even be talking about this? Granted, this is the world we live in now and some people would surely still be upset, but the filmmakers could have preemptively shut down many a disgruntled internet-user if they had taken the time to stop and…
Neither, I fear, will that young and hungry new act out of Hannah, Alberta named Nickelback. They've really got that "something!"
I've chatted with a few Americans over the years who knew who the Hip was and most seemed to be from the Buffalo area. Radio stations bleeding over the borders and influencing young American musical tastes. Trump's new first act after becoming President will be a digital wall to protect Americans from heartland…
"Bond..Please let me bond with you."
I'm not his biggest champion but there are more than a few songs of his that I really do enjoy.
Where have all the good people gone?
Ted who?
As a Canadian I feel equal parts saddened and morbidly patriotic that this story has made the American news.
I'm guessing that we haven't seen Gilly's baby in a few episodes because they needed it to age a couple of years.
Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaid
Orange man needs a (/n Hispanic) maid.
