Well now that 90s SNL series of sketches on Amy Fisher movies makes a lot more sense to me now and is actually quite a bit funnier.

It's like 2016 looked at 2014 celebrity deaths and thought "Dude, I can totally top that!"
You mean 69, British, and unconventionally attractive? (in that case, someone please keep an eye on Tim Curry)
I found the humans (the Captain, John, and Mary) in the movie to be quite engaging. They were folks who just always lived that way and when they finally took a moment to kind of look beyond what they've always known, it just works for me.
A very smart move on his part. There's a couple episodes that feel slightly dated (as par for the course with really any show) but even like the themes of those episodes had something that resonates with today's kind of audience. People always look at me strange when I say that The Dick Van Dyke Show is better than I…
Looks like I'll be seeking out reruns of The Dick Van Dyke Show tonight. I'm pretty bummed out. She was a super underrated part of the show itself.
Also, a show in which a good chunk of the episodes don't feel super dated, which is huge considering that it's well over 50 years old.
Mr. Fung….on the day you handled the bloody glove….did you…..shampoo your hairrrrrr
Swole zombies? Do they go for muscles rather than brains?
Sometimes it's not that bad of a thing. I mean I absolutely loved a few of the one-offs like "The Wanders", "The Fremergency Fronfract" (which is IMO the funniest episode of the series) and "The Family Reunion" but to be fair, those can also be considered semi-serialized
It's kind of a pain in the ass because there are legit criticisms with the trailer and what the movie looks like right now. My issues is the lack of originality. They could've gone a different route but it just feels like (I'm saying feels like because we don't know for sure yet) it'll just be the same old thing.
What if I dislike just Kristen Wiig in the cast? Which side does that make me? It's only Wiig. The others I can tolerate. Does that make me an Evil Patriarchal MRA?
I enjoyed the episode greatly, but I gotta admit that the show kind of feels like it's held back a lot by it's lack of serialization (save for the four episodes that were stated). Like they want to move the plot along but they can't because Disney wanted them to do more one-off episodes than serialized episodes.
Also, did you notice the effect that the Fleischer-esque ghosts has where it looked like an old film? I thought that was really cool to go along with it (unless that's what you were referencing and I'm bad at reading)
Even though I can't watch any HIMYM episode anymore thanks to that godawful finale pretty much ruining everything for me, I have to say that "Countdown" from Season 6 was one of those for me. Just the way Marshall says "I'm not ready for this" is heartbreaking.
It's one of my favorite episodes but it's really tough to sit through. I pretty much cover my face when it comes to the part where they cut his body down. That reveal of his body was really startling. I think I had the same face that Don, Roger, and Pete had.
That's what I choose to believe.
I sort of agree with you. I completely agree that the fact that if it was all dudes, the vitriol wouldn't be as large as it is. However, I think it's the fact that the marking is making it seem as if that's the only selling point of the movie is where the vitriol comes from. Because let's face it, that's the only…
Rod Stewart has a rare gift of turning great songs into soulless dreck. It's really strange.
I think what makes Wheel of the Worst best is just some of the insane things they come across. My two favorites are The Osteoporosis Dance and S.O.S.
