I think him and Lin Manuel Miranda are like the two biggest West Wing fanboys in existence. So I'm thinking they're both super excited.

The only one who comes close to him, IMO, is Eddie Murphy. Like I think that's the only cast member that I'll actually hear an argument about considering that he pretty much saved SNL.

I didn't realize till long afterwards that his voice was a constant in my childhood since he had guest spots on pretty much every cartoon I watched growing up (Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Dennis the Menace, The Critic, Darkwing Duck, The Simpsons (obvious), even Ren & Stimpy) which is kind of mindblowing when you think

Every so often, while randomly searching stuff on YouTube, I end up coming across his SNL Audition Tape and everytime I watch it, I just get angry again. But yet, I still watch because the absolute talent you see on display is just astounding. It just sucks all around.

That episode with the Hash Brownies was fantastic. Det. Harris was especially hilarious to me like when Barney that he needed to get the brownies tested, Harris just grabs the brownie and snacks on it. And poor Fish having like the best day of his career while high.

As iconic as Bryan Cranston is as Walter White in Breaking Bad and now pretty much nobody else could've done that role, I do sometimes wonder how Hartman would've done as Walter White.

I'm not entirely sure bout Goz but I know that Ritter died on the 11th and Cash on the 12th. However, I think Ritter's was announced on the 12th or it happened very late on the 11th.

It really brings an extra layer to the "Here lies Phillip J. Fry. Named for his uncle to carry on his spirit" quote for me.

As did Yul Brynner and Orson Welles on 10/10/1985. Though the ultimate day was the troika of Dudley Moore, Milton Berle and Billy Wilder on 3/27/2002…also the exact day I got my license.

I think they were both announced on the 12th however because I do clearly remember learning about Cash first.

…you sound like someone who would really enjoy Hollywood Mysteries & Scandals. It was a series that ran on E! in the late 90s early 00s that were 30 minute episodes about Hollywood folks who usually died prematurely or had some serious dark clouds surrounding them. It's a little cheesy but it's interesting viewing. A

I have to say that the post-Ritter episodes were quite fascinating in some respects because it turned into a TV show about a family recovering from a giant loss and getting through life and it totally worked.

I think that was the first celebrity death that ever shook me up something fierce. I legitimately remember the exact moment I found out and just kind of standing there in a daze.

I think the only reason that Tribute was even put together was because 1977 (and early 1978) had such significant losses. I don't think they did another one of these In Memoriams until like 1994 or something along those lines? That montage is actually up on Youtube (I get bored sometimes and I stumbled upon it)

To be honest, I think that was like the first one they ever really did. Though with damn good reason because holy shit was 1977-early 1978 quite a year — Joan Crawford, Elvis Presley, Groucho Marx, Bing Crosby, Charlie Chaplin…and there's several more too!

The award show In Memoriam segments never seems to get their shit together. It's either too much performer focus, forgetting key people, not knowing who to pause longest for, even music choice (I swear to god I'm sick of hearing "Hallelujah" as an In Memoriam song)

I really wish he would've stuck with the Old Hollywood angle of things.

Well for what ti's worth, Joan IS on a cusp between Pisces and Aries but she doesn't seem that much like a Pisces (speaking as a fellow Pisces though I have a Moon in Leo which kinda tempers some of those traits)

I thought this was already known. I could've sworn there was a low key article about him getting married to another man.

Man, everybody is talking about Toby Huss but yet are leaving out his most iconic role. That role being Artie, The Strongest Man in the World from The Adventures of Pete & Pete
