I saw the first two episodes of Legend of Korra which then led me to FINALLY getting around to watching Avatar: The Last Airbender. I got through the entire series before the third episode was shown (which was like 2 months later or so? Nickelodeon's scheduling of that show was nuts)

I think it's just the whining that got to me.

I'm in that late 20s-early 30s age range and childless…so I guess I still count as a parent just in case?

The thing is that, like any genre, it can be great if it's done right. The problem is that it's hardly ever done right and it's hard to sympathize. Though I think Holden was supposed to be really unlikable…at least I hope that was the intention.

Does Catcher in the Rye count? Because it's counting for me. It's pretty much "I Threw It on the Ground" in book form (yes it's older, but I can listen to that song and still get the gist of Catcher in the Rye).

I had a friend who was absolutely obsessed with Grease and pretty much ruined any chance of me actually liking the movie. It as 70s-twinged 50s-nostalgia. The worst kind.

I'm not sure about having it be Elsa, if only because I like her as being a strong, independent woman who don't need a man/woman. But in the future? Absolutely. It'd be great to see an original character princess who's all about the ladies.

She's a strong independent woman who don't need no man…or woman for that matter.

Surprised you didn't go with "Do You Hear What I Hear?"-Bing Crosby (well one of the many versions) which was actually written as a plea for peace in the midst of the Cuban Missile Crisis. Though that may be more along the lines of "on the verge of possible nuclear annihilation told by means of Jesus imagery" instead.

"You are disgrace to the whole judishulsizzem!"

It was actually a 4 person effort — Kate, Aidy Bryant, Sarah Schneider, and I forgot the guy's name but I think Chris Kelly? Seth had it in his tweet.
